I have a quick question about Kara's memory. This may or may not have been covered thus far (although I assume it has since "inconsistencies" are quickly pointed out), but I haven't come across it. Also, this point is fairly insignificant I suppose, but I'm curious nonetheless.

When Kara's memory is restored, she asks Chloe, "Why are we in the fortress?", implying that she didn't remember (who knows how far back). Yet, at the end of the episode, she mentions that "Lex would have probably cut my brain up by now," (or something along those lines) implying that she does remember. Did her memory of when she lost her memory come back, or did she just forget the 5 minutes or so before her memory was restored?

My guess is that someone filled her in off-screen.

I agree...that someone filled her in on what happen.

It seemed to be similar to what Clark experienced in Blank how when he got his memory back, he forgot the events that took place while his memory was lost.

i was thinking it was more like when Angel gets reinsouled on 'Buffy'... he remembers who he is when he has a soul, and it takes him a little while to remember all the things he's done as a monster... the memories dont just click like a lightbulb, they sort of filter in

i was hoping it was the same with Kara... that she was disoriented and hadnt quite got eveything back yet... hope they dont have her not remembering her time with Lex, seems like a waste

Wasn't Kara in the Fortress with Clark and her father right before she lost her memory?

I think it was a state of complete disorientation, not necessarily connected to her memory.
Restoring your Kryptonian powers and all your memories from 18 years ago could possibly do that to you

That's a good theory. Although the writers probably won't address that. As good as this episode was and how good the writing can be, they have the tendency to also drop the ball on these sorts of things. Sort of like how for some reason Clark and Kara don't interact on screen when she has amnesia in the past few episodes she was in.
