Even after it was all over Lionel was worried, very worried. Is he worried for his own skin or Clark's. He tried to say it was Patricia that was sending them.

Clark no longer trusts him at all. Lionel tried to say he was a different man now and Clark paused and said, no you're not and walked away.

What do you think?

That scene was really well done, after Lionel tried to convince him he was a different man (he looked so desperate too, and sincere), there was dead silence for about a second and then Clark simply said "No you're not." And just walked away. I loved it! For me that had a lot more impact than if Clark would have gotten really angry at him. It was perfect!

As for Lionel really being a changed man? I just don't know anymore, I really don't, and I think that's how they want us to feel. Lionel has always been and will always be a mystery.
