Ok, so Chloe revives Lex in the last episode,
but won't even offer to heal Pete's arm this episode.
Combined with wasted Chloe / Jimmy dialog afterwards.
Where's the chat between Clark and Lionel?
Nixed in favor of useless dialog.
Like all other episodes this season.
Wasted opportunities for a better episode gone down the toilet of useless dialog.
Like Lois and Grant (uh, the whole point of that subplot? Nothing)
Like Lois and Oliver
Like Chloe and Jimmy
Like Clark and Lana
All this screen time should be devoted to other things.
Yet it is obvious the CW is dictating a certain amount of screen time to this crap
Or the writers/Gough/Millar have run out of ideas
Or better they're wasting too much time trying to create a spin-off show of every character
With that said, I have thoroughly enjoyed Smallville since Season 1.
Yet the way this season is being written or changed, it's a shame..
Only difference in Clark is, he's not trying to be normal anymore.
But still 'stays on the farm instead of getting off his ars'
He's not just a BDA, he's a BDLA (Lazy)

Pete wasn't going to die so why waste her energy on healing his arm? :\ To show that she's a good friend? She's showed that enough IMO.
Half of the time, we don't even get needed screentime. The commercials are always...butting in. :\
BDLA part = So true.

First of all, like they discussed or at least hinted in the last episode before 'Hero,' Chloe is probably not going to use her power as much anymore, especially on such minor things as a broken arm. She healed Jimmy's cut in 'Gemini' just to show him what power she has.
Secondly, she saved Lex because she wanted Clark to live. If Lex had died, Clark would have too.
Thirdly, what other things do you suggest they devote screen time? I feel that the soap-opera like conversations could be lessened (which I feel they have improved on, especially compared to last season). Changes are welcome, but only if you have other ideas.
Fourthly, this is my favorite season of the series so far. Either this season, or season 3.
Oh, and I'm absolutely sure Clark and Lionel will chat based on what Clark said to Lionel at his office at LuthorCorp before going to save Pete.

She only uses her power to save people when it comes down to life or death because it uses so much energy out of her to bring someone back. Chloe didnt want to be, technically dead, for 18+ hours, just to heal Petes arm.

I wondered why Chloe didn't heal Pete's arm as well, it seems like it would be the friendly thing to do but I got why she didn't. I mean, she didn't even tell him she had powers for a while (he had to find out from Lex, remember?) and he didn't know she had healing powers. Then he said that thing to her about living in secrecy and I think that is what stopped her. She got what Pete was trying to say.
That and yeah, if she went around healing every little hurt in the world she would be dead most of the time.

Yeah, I can understand Chloe being forced to save Lex in order to save Clark..
But still, I think they should have written the episode to where she healed Pete's arm.
Despite Pete being a jerk up until the end but that was due to the KryptoGum.
Yet, I doubt she would die from healing an arm.
It seems when she revives someone is when she dies.
Life for a life so to speak.
True, the soap-opera scenes aren't as bad as Season 6.
Like all the Lois and Oliver crap.
Still, they could be focusing more on Clark moving towards becoming Superman.
Which is what this show is 'supposed' to be about.
Not 'SoapOperaVille' with every other character.
Oh well, I hope tonight's episode is more enjoyable that this one
:)

I thought that being he knew she had a meteor power that she would heal Pete, like she did with Jimmy and wouldn't have had any repercusions. But I can understand her wanting to keep it on the down low, especially since Pete's not doing so well with Clark's origins.
I guess I was a tad disappointed with TPTB choice on that.

I bet even if Pete knew she could, he wouldn't let her because he knew what the risks were when he went up against Lex like that.
