Seriously, how does kryptonite get underneath the foundation of an old warehouse? Last time I checked, the only place you can find meteors are in craters. I don't see how rocks falling from space can end up underneath foundations... Especially veins of it like was shown. In the past I've tried to suspend belief... sure it can end up in the lake, that kinda makes sense... Spread out on the forest floor? OK.... Somehow it's underground in a cavern? Well, that doesn't make much sense but I looked past that... But under buildings? That's just too much!
I guess I'll have to try and accept this like the fact that everyone think it's ok that glowing green rocks seems to be everywhere and doesn't (or at least might) pose a serious health risk (which by now should be obvious to anyone living in that town, or anyone with common sense for that matter)... Will someone call hazmat already??????

Yeah it can be ridiculous sometimes. What annoys me though is that Clark has had so many different variations of reactions from different doses of it. There were crates of krypto gum and yet he managed to stand there looking at it for a while and stumbled over to it. When in other situations he would have crumpled to the ground with the same dosage.
I thought when you heat kryptonite it turns it into the black kryptonite?? So how did he manage to 'destroy' the gum?

You know what's riddiculous? Clark getting sick off the Krypto river one second, than leaning forward to look at it, leaning back into same position and he can suddenly handle it? Wow.

Right! He was able to get fairly close to the huge vein of kryptonite in the floor, but he still had his powers when he shoved the crate of gum aside... but later a tiny rock of a small paper weight on his chest and he's totally immobile!

Oh, God! The more I think about it, the more I dislike this entire episode.

Why oh why in 7 years have Clark's friends not gone around collecting as much Green K as they can find?!
With all it's uses, why hasn't Lex nabbed all of it?!
It just doesn't make sense!!!

yeah i have a problem that they were making GUM in a factory while there was a huge green vein exposed. there really isnt a consistecy with this show at all. i mean clark showed back up to save pete at the end and didnt even feel the effects of the meteor rocks. and then how was there a vein there to begin with? kryptonite doesnt grow like a plant.

I think my main problem was that, despite being "affected" by the K in the factory, Clark is able to toss aside an entire pallet of boxes, yet the little nugget of K in Lionel's office knocks him flat and pins him down.
Seriously, writers? Are you going to make me have to pretend that the k-rock in Lionel's safe was "purer," or some crappy fanwank explanation like that, to try to make sense of this?
I totally don't get the Kryptonite "rules" anymore.
