slightly disappointed in Chloe

I felt very bad for Pete. It's obvious he still has feelings for her...and when he said "dont worry, you dont have to tell me" (refuring to her secret) and she just smiles in appreciation, my heart broke a little. After all of these poor Pete is left in the dark. I mean, he almost died trying to protect her...and he would tell her anything. To have her blantenly disreguard his feelings made our dear Chloe seem shut down and cold. To me any way. The reaccuring theme through the episode seemed to be secrets=trouble. I guess they will never learn. I just thought after everything they've been through Chloe would let Pete in. On the other hand...he has been away for 3 years, so I guess I can kind of understand that. Just a little disappointed.

And for the record...I am a die hard Chloe fan, so those who say Chloe fans and Chlark fans always wear blinders when it comes to this character. Here is your proof we dont! :lol:

Well, based on her answer to Jimmy when he asked if she 'ditched Pete for Clark' and there was an awkward pause and she said they were all friends... best friends..... I'd think that she didn't feel comfy telling Pete about her secret.

Chloe is more guarded than most of the freaks on SV lol... maybe CK should take a page from her book some time... maybe a few pages......

Well, since the last time she 'healed' someone she was 'dead' for 18 hours.... I would think she's a little bit more scarce about 'healing' anyone.....

Well, Chloe never had those feelings for Pete and she hadn't seen him in 3 years so her reaction was fine. I probably would have done the same thing.

But also Chloe wasn't sure about how Pete was going to react to it. Pete behaved harshly towards hiding Clark's secret and seeing how he almost got killed over Chloe's, maybe she thought he might act the same way.

Well..If I do recall she healed Jimmy in the DP. Just pulled him into the copy room. :). And a broken arm is a lot worse then a paper cut.

I just wish Chloe would realize who she should tell, and who not. A guy who would die to protect your secret...should be in the inside loop. He's earned it.

I concur. She should have helped a friend out. The only thing I can think is plausible deniablity? It he doesnt know what it is, should someone get ahold of him he can truthfully say he doesn't know for sure she is a mfreek because he never saw her use powers.

Because Pete didn't even bother to come into Smallville unless the band dragged him there. Chloe's not gonna go break her back to tell someone her secret when he's not willing to meet her halfway. :\ He's been gone for a while and maybe she feels that she shouldn't bombard him with her secrets seeing as how he almost got killed for it. Maybe she thought he needed time before he told her.

But the fact that Pete knows she is infected at all puts him at risk, so why not let him know what they're up against? Just leaving him hanging wasn't chloesque at all.

Lex doesn't know Chloe's power, or if she even has one. All he said to Pete was that Chloe was a meteor freak. He knows that without a doubt from "Freak." Pete jumped to conclusions that Chloe had a power, but of course, Chloe wouldn't know that.

Yea I was a little sad that Chloe didn't open up about herself to Pete but I can understand why she wouldn't want to. Pete was out there to tell the world about his powers, and I think she knows that everyone is out to get Pete when it comes with people secrets ..its kind of sad..I don't see Lex beating up Chloe for secrets...messed up

Oh me too. I thought she was really as gracious as she's ever been about Pete's feelings for her. But I really thought she would heal his arm. However, suddenly having a paper cut and suddenly having a broken arm are two different things.

Ah well.

ETA: She could have whispered to him that she could heal people. That is weird.
