the funny thing about it is, there was a thread started on the old Smallville Torch forum regarding what people thought Pete's nickname should be.

a few months after the thread was posted, Smallville did the racing episode where Pete was dubbed "the Boss Ross"... I wouldn't be surprised if the writers actually came onto these forums when they need a little inspiration.
