my girlfriend keeps telling me she wants dance books, tv shows, movies etc. for her birthday. I'm pretty hopeless with doing research for this stuff. think amazon is the best way to go?

I know about videos or books but I know there are a ton of tv shows about dancing right now. If your girlfriend likes dancing try out a few of them..i'm sure she'll enjoy you spending the time with her.
There are a bunch of Dancing shows on TV: Dancing with the starts, so you think you can dance, america's best dance crew and a brand new one on Lifetime called Your Mama Don't Dance. I think that one is actually on tonight so you can probably check it out.

Dance shows are just plain awesome. There is a new one starting on Bravo too..but I can never remember the name.

Your Mama Dont Dance is a really cute concept. They are pulling it off pretty well. Anyone else like it?

Amazon is a good place to find books on just about anything. Try there or half.com.

Your Mama Dont Dance has become the new craze in my household. My mom and dad watch it every week and always end up cracking up thinking about what it would be like if their dancer child brought them on the show. They are so silly! :rotfl:
