View Full Version : Season 7 -- Season 8 Gap, How Long?
I've always been behind on smallville seasons, can anybody tell me the gap time we should expect when season 7 finishes for season 8 to start? I think 7 ends sometime in may. Cheers

I have always been behind Smallville Seasons too! S7 ends in May, so I think if there is a S8 it would air the first Thursday of October, or the last of September.
Thanks. I wish i had paced myself catching up on smallville! I could have maybe dragged it on a little longer and reduce the ''no smallville'' period. I watched 6 seasons in a month!
But still, 4 months isn't bad i guess. I was thinking end of 2008 which would have been unbearable!

 The end of 2008? If we ha a good cliffhanger, it would be madness . Maybe if Season 8 is good, we could have a Season 9 to finish off the series, because I truly can't get enough of Smallville! :D

Due to the writer's strike, it may be different. Are they going to do 7 more episodes or still end at episode 15? If they do write more episodes but not enough for the full 22 episode season, will they make some episodes 2 hours long?

I am probably gonna guess that the last 2 episodes are gonna be longer 41 mins (the usual) to make up for the 2 episodes lost. Lets hope for a good ending to the season and a season 8 and 9!

5 or 6 more episodes this season is what Craig (Kryptonsite) is saying.

That sucks how we're not gonna get 22, but it's good that there will be more than 15. I hope they do some 2-hour episodes. I think Supernatural will be 2 hours next week (doesn't look like there will be a Smallville episode). I wonder when the next Smallville epiosde will be.

I thought Supernatural was going to have a 2-hour episode. I could have sworn them saying that it (Supernatural) starts at 8PM next week.

Yeah...I hope they give Smallville some 2-hour episodes. I don't see why they don't in the 1st place because they give One Tree Hill and Supernatural 2 hour episodes and I don't think Smallville has had one yet.
It's crazy cause Smallville has been on way longer they those shows. I hope we get some 2 hour shows....and the series finale should be a Smallville TV 2 hour movie finale. That would make my whole entire year to hear that confirmed!
Hopefully the webmaster can contact someone to find out if will get some 2 hour episodes in the future!

Wow a 2 hr SV episode season finale? I hope so I mean we've gone through enough repeats this season..And if certain cast members don't plan on returning then they need to wrap up their characters with closure for the fans.
