All I could think was that Lois is still scorned by Lex calling her a 'muffin-peddler' and since she broke up with Ollie, she was looking for someone to take it out on. As for Lex, I'm thinking he just followed up on a lead from his lookouts.

remember the neclace lex gave to kara? the snt. anthony one? in the first scene he told lois that it had a tracking device in it and that he low-jacked her.lois found lex by following him to detroit, but idk why she didn't just call clark. i guess she was just too buisy trying to save kara.

My guess is Lois didn't call Clark because she wanted to be sure she had Lex, and evidence, which was the photo. And then when she wanted to phone Clark, lovely Lex just took her phone out of her hand.

How could episode 11 end with lex getting stabbed in the shoulder area... and then in episode 12 he is in motor city? I'm a lil confused. I really didn't like this one.

I guess the writers just want us to come to our own conclusions.
I assume he was secretly searching for her since she went missing, and just happened to find her, and off he went.
After his shoulder miraculously healed of course.

So much agree, everytime Lois went out to do her investigating she would never tell Clark, until when she gets into trouble Superman saves the day.

Lex has got eyes and ears everywhere, so that's not too unbelievable. Lois finding them is just further development of her investigative skills.

What really got me was her handing him the phone. That was a fantastically bad and out-of-character moment.
