What did Clark tell Lana what heppened to Chloe?

Ok usaully I am happy w/ Lana light episodes but I really wanted to know what happened to Lana after she left the lab. was she in the other room?

I really wanted to know what did Clark tell Lana what happened to Chloe. How di he explain that Chloe was gone for 18 hours.

I think that even though the show didnt show Clark talking to Lana, there's a good chance that he did talk to Lana beofre stayign with Chloe the whloe 18 hours. I dont think Clark would let Lana worry for so long.

That was pathetic on the part of the writers.

And I do believe that Clark is not in the habit of telling Lana about other people's gifts. It would be for Chloe to tell if she wants to, so no Lana should not know Chloe is meteor infected in less she learned it by watching Lex and I seriously doubt it

No she doesn't. Clark asked her if Chloe opened up to her and Lana told him that the cure would be big for her because it would be a big story.

And if Lana knew Chloe wouldn't lie to her when she first found out about the Isis foundation.

He preformed a three hour shaggy-dog joke esq play using hand puppets, about a guy who collects bushes, until Lana was sleepy then he gave her a glass of milk and put her to bed. Once that was done they subtly moved Chloe's body out by hiding it in a canoe

My guess is Clark didn't have to tell her anything. I think it was Chloe that created the distraction by asking Lana to get her a coffee or something (take your pick) just to get Lana as far away from the lab as possible so that she (Chloe) could have enough time to heal Lex without having to answer any "questions" later.

I agree, I think she is self absorbed enough, not to even consider what was happening in the room and left under the guise of "I can't be here, what if Clark doesn't come back. I can't bear to see him hurt. Who will take care of me and buy into my manipulation then? So she left, and that's when Chloe stormed the room demanding to know what was taking so long.

And I choose the 3rd option. Clark didn't tell Lana anything. After superspeeding from Detroit he went immediately to the Talon to wait for Chloe to wake up. And as we know he waited for 18 Hours.

Lana didn't call Chloe, because she didn't want to hear Chloe flame her for being so self centered. And Clark didn't call Lana, because she just really wasn't his concern at the time. He can make up something when he gets back to the farm. Or better yet, he hangs with Chloe for the rest of the day because he just needs her ALIVE presence around him. And goes back to the farm when Lana's sleeping that night. He can answer her inconsequential questions in the morning. Who really cares, she's been lying to him alot lately. He shouldn't have to answer her questions anyway, if she cared so much why wasn't she there!???

But truthfully, I think the writers didn't bring Lana back for the rest of the eppy purposefully. Haven't we had enough Clana angst for the last few shows? After Clark saw what he did in Lex's mind, having him confront Lana would of changed the whole tone of the show. And once again made it about LANA! UGH! So they chose the safer course, keep her out., because at this point she clearly doesn't matter.

I understand and appriciate that. The less angsty Lana drama the better. But they could have at least dropped a line saying what excuse he told Lana or say he hasn't seen or something. I want them to show Clark lying for Chloe and trying to protect her secret.

I think they clearly don't want Lana to know yet that Chloe is a MF. I think they are saving that for Traveler. I fanwanked that Lana may have take the opportunity to snoop around Luthorcorp while everyone was busy so she missed the excitement. Lionel, who is smart enough to know that Lex should not see near dead Chloe would certainly have gotten her out of the room quick. In fact, since Lex seemed to act like he never left the hospital, I'm thinking he never came fully awake or Lionel had the doctor administer a sedative. Lionel could have dragged Chloe out of view before calling in the doc and then told Lana that Clark had a bead on Lois & Kara and that Chloe ran off to do something for Clark at the Planet. He could have told Lana that the mind-meld procedure had miraculously caused Lex to recover (because Clark is an alien and ....whatever) and then urged Lana to get clear so Lex didn't see her. Lana would have happily exited stage left at that point and headed home. Lionel takes Chloe to the apartment.

All Clark had to tell Lana was that Lois & Kara are okay but he had to help Chloe with something right away and to please greet Kara and help her settle in till he got home.

"Helping Chloe with something" is both true and boring enough that Lana may not push to find out anything more. Especially if Clark distracts her with Kara talk. I think Lana has gotten use to Clark generally being vague when helping Chloe. The exchange during Cure:

You are absolutely right. So yeah, I would agree with that being all that would be needed to appease Lana. Problem for me is that she doesn't care enough for a deeper explanation if doesn't directly affect her.
So I would go with that if he told her anything.

But I still stick with him not contacting her at all. I think he was too focus on Chloe to give Lana second thought.

I think she was snooping around as someone pointed out earlier in this thread to find some more indiscriminating evidence against Lex and when she came back, found everyone gone. So hence went off in a huff, furious about being left behind and vow not to speak to Clark or Lionel ever again - WHOOPEEE!!!! How cool would that be!!!

I have to go with the idea that Lana never left the farm to stay with Chloe, otherwise she would have lots of questions regarding Chloe being out for 18 hours and why Clark stayed with her if she was living with Chloe.

He probably gave Lana an excuse about going somewhere with Chloe. There's no way he told Lana the truth; I'm sure Chloe will tell her eventually. That's her business, not Clark's.

That's not a plot hole...that's just something that wasn't explained. We may find out in the next episode, but if we don't...well, does it really matter? It's hardly a vital point.
