I was thinking maybe Lionel took it. From what I remember, Lex picked it up - then he got shot. Maybe he put it in his pocket? If his father took him to the hospital, maybe he stole it from Lex.

Did anyone else notice that at one point, the bracelet no longer had the \S/ on it? Do you think that was just a matter of the angle it was being held in? Or did something happen to it, perhaps?

I saw the \S/ to the left as he turned it slightly.

yes, I think he probably has it and if she regains total memory, give her a copy. Lex has probably seen the S before. Even if he didn't-he is thinking Kara is not from here, so he will probably analyze the metal the bracelet is made from. Do you think he will help her with her memory? I think he is starting to have feelings for her.

ok, so i was a bit confused, but now i got it. allow me to illustrate:

in the beginning of the epi, lex finds the bracelet in the rain. the \S/ is there.

here's the scene i was talking about. when kara is talking to lex in the diner. no \S/ visible. i thought maybe it disappeared when she lost her memory, and somehow reappeared before lex found it:

upon closer inspection, however, i noticed that in this wide shot, the \S/ is just visible:

of course he has feelings for her, Kara is beautiful and sweet, but Lex claims to have feelings for Kara because she saved him from drowning but his dark side will ruin any relationship he could have with Kara. He already wants to subject her to experiments and once he starts he wont stop. Lex realizes by uncovering Kara's secrets he will uncover Clark's which he has coveted since the very first episode
