EVERYONE GO BUY STRIDE GUM...NOW!!! :p

But that Sprint phone was on the screen for too long... And they put it at the exact angle so that we'd see the type of phone it was too... Like in "Kara" with Lois' phone.

leave the room when commercials are on......they seem to run longer, than the actual show does.:lol:

I was half expecting Kara to delve into a description of how amazing this new phone was and the cell plan she was on.

it was so hilarious..n only to me more bc i recently watched on youtube that sprint Subliminal Message from epi Kara lol so it was truly funny to see all these pop ups of ads

I'll be honest, I never even noticed the "Sprint" label when they were showing the phone. I just saw the name of the song, and the singer. I thought maybe it was an ad to go buy that person's album, or iTune the song for $0.99 and support the artist.

They did a Stirde promo in "Siren" too when Dinah opens Chloe's desk draw and pulls out her Sprint cell phone there was a a pack of Stride gum in the draw.:)

Yeah I noticed that. So they get to free gum for everyone on the set to chew and free phones for the cast & crew? haha TW now you can have all the free gum you want since he likes to chew gum in interviews or at award shows. haha :)

I was half expecting Dinah to take some of the Stride and start chewing it.

I actually laugh whenever they try to do these "hidden" ads, because they make it so glaringly obvious that it's just funny.

Like Pete going "Check out my NEW TALON MIX, Clark!" *camera focuses on it for like 10 seconds* and Clark going "Awesome!" (or something to that effect) back in Season 2.

Or Lois explaining to that security guard all about why the Ford Fusion is a great car.

Or the Angel of Vengeance and Chloe talking about "Accuview to the rescue!"

See, I actually kinda enjoy these plugs because they give me something to laugh about in the middle of all the drama. :lol:

When Kara was playing that song on her phone and saying "They said this was my favorite song" I half-expected her to turn to face the camera, hold the phone up to the camera and say "And it can be yours too! Just sign up for this package from Sprint...."

I don't mind them.
They're something to laugh about. I mean, the show is getting so serious I need a laugh amidst the drama. My favorite one was Chloe in "Vengeance" when she says "Acuvue to the rescue!" The way she said it, too.

But I did imagine a Sprint or Stride line somewhere during Fracture!

LOL, me too! Plus I was also expecting to see Kara allow a tear fall out of her eyes because of the song she couldn't remember. LaVa has a great way with emotions!
