Michael Rosebaum's acting was superb. He completely rocked, specially in the scene where Clark stoped him from killing Alexander, just awesome.

Alexander: "Trust me Clark, you're my best friend." Awww, that was really sweet and heartbreaking, I almost cry with all the Alexander's scenes, I really hope he keeps fighting inside of Lex.

A lot of scenes were awesome, Lex parts especially, learning more about his past and whatnot. The Lexana scene must've been horrifying for Clark, you could probably tell by his eye reactions, which was kinda funny.

I was surprised how the writers created the world of Lex's mind...A corridor of doors that leads to a different memory with the child representing the good side of Lex and the adult representing the evil side. That was a good way of displaying just how much the evil has consumed Lex and just how little of goodness is left within him. The child also shows just how fragile the good is within Lex. I really was impressed with the scenes that involves with Lex's mind. The rest was the same, average to mediocre.

Clark protecting Alexander. I loved the scene where Clark runs back to Alexander to comfort him before heading off to save Kara and Lois. That was a Superman moment.

I'd say first Chloe healing Lex to save Clark and their little convo after that and a very close second would be little Alexander. He pulled on my heartstrings.

I liked Lex's tragic childhood scene. It gives some more dept to his character. I liked the Lois/Kara scene but I had to confess I expected way more... I like also the worry of Clark for Chloe's safety.

Agreed. My brother Alex was here as I saw it and I turned to him and said "worst episode ever". I can't believe it's been well received apparently, I must be so out of touch! I've really enjoyed S7 up to this point, so had actually got my love of Smallville back.

Yeah, easily the worst episode of the entire run of the show. Hands down. I would have taken a miraculous return of "Bug Boy" over this any day of the week.

i REALLY loved this episode. the look into Lex's mind was spot on and i loved how little alexander was clark's best friend and i loved clark's smile after he told him that. and the ending fight scene with evil lex was cool and kinda creepy. i loved that chloe used her power to save clark and the fact they actually had a conversation about it :). 9/10.

How about Clark beating the **** out of Lex? I was really feeling for Clark....he was letting out all of anger on Lex. I also liked the lexana sex scene...I felt so bad for Clark he seemed to be writhing in agongy....:(

I picked Clark protecting Alexander, but I have to comment on the one where Chloe heals lex.....she only healed him because Clark's life was in danger, I"m not sure had Clark not been in the equation that she would risk her life just for Lex...and on that note reveal her ability to Lionel. She said to Lionel "I can save THEM".........I also think that they did a much better job casting young Alexander this time around then they did before. This kid was a great actor!!! AND an awesome likeness to what Lex may have looked like as a kid.
