I thought the same thing when we saw a bit of Alexander's face at his first appearance. His hair looked slightly similar and he had scars like that Bizarro holding boy, but I assume it's different actor also.

Actually, his name is Connor Stanhope. My nephew goes to the same school as him, and he told me about it. You can probably look him up on the imdb. He is actually blonde. I think maybe they used a wig for this.

I think they were 2 different kids. Will go back and find out. But, I actually thought the one that was possessed by the Phantom was a cuter kid then this one.
