Question...how is Lex shot and airlifted out of the scrap yard but no one seems to find Kara, Lois, and Wounded Crazy Guy? It looks like they never left the spot that Lex was shot from. Talk about your shoddy work.

Lex has a steel plate in his head from an old patch job after the mansion fell on his head in S3. The perp probably reloaded the bullet himself and forgot to put the powder in the casing, therby leaving Lex with a super cool scar and a truly monster headache.

Finley takes his body some where and he's just found? How much time has passed at this point? Who finds him, how long does it take for help to arrive and to medivac him? Absolutely ridiculous. Sorry but I'd take scab writers from now on after this episode.

All they needed to do was have Lex shot in the chest & then when he fell he bang his head causing a concussion then they needed the device but noooo!!!:\

Yeah, the whole shot in the head thing was a little much. People have survived being shot in the head, but as someone mentioned with the whole moving the body, then finding it, then the medivac... too much time would have passed for him to likely be alive anymore. Shot in the chest and still alive... ok sure, but not likely in the head.

and the other guy who was shot, wouldn't he be weak? how come a wounded guy can't be taken down by a kryptonian and a martial arts expert? and still, without those abilities, it's two gutsy girls against one wounded guy!

maybe it was a medical helicopter but along the way when daddy Luthor found out about Lex incident he had them bring them to Smallville hospital for better doctors. But arent the better doctors in metropolis?

It isn't too far-fetched though.

Lex was pretty much unconscious during his time in the Smallville medical center, so he was pretty much dead until he finally flat-lined.

I always wondered how on earth they couldn't find Kara and Lois. Come on they may have been locked in a cage but, you would at least think that the girls would hear the siren's of the ambulance and call out.

Another thing that bugs me is that they airlift him all the way to Kansas. I guess Detroit doesn't have any good hospitals....Flying him for a few hours is much better.

Someone with a head wound as serious as Lex's appeared to be should have caused enough cerebral edema where he would have needed respiratory support. More than a mere O2 mask. No bruising around the wound or periorbital swelling/bruising? ET tube props may be too costly. Also... oh never mind. :\
