I can't believe they're using the "i'll never lie to you" line with another one of Clark's women. I swear, if this storyline goes beyond the next episode, i'm going to gag.

Do you mean with Kara? I don't really see the problem with it. Lex is using Kara's amnesia to his advantage to confirm his suspicions that he had about her when the season started.
Unless you're not talking about Kara.

Not that line specifically, just the manipulating them with "honesty" in order to get close. Am I the only one who thought it was starting to look like exactly what he did with Lana?

I think it's pretty close, but not exactly since Lana didn't have a secret to hide while Kara does or at least did. And that's what Lex is after now IMO.

I agree with Professor Kaos.
When Lex used that line on Kara it took me back to when he said that to Lana. When I heard that I felt like choking Lex by the neck and kick his bony A*S.

I think that was the reason they used it. We're seeing lex work in patterns.

That seems interesting, I never thought of that. Thats strange, Kara and Lex seem like a couple.

Well, they were a couple in a few incarnations in the comics, so I'm sure Smallville is going to touch base on that, just as they used the name Linda, a nod to the Matrix/Linda Danvers combo Supergirl, and just as they have shown a connection between Kara and Jimmy. Next they'll probably introduce Boomer

Well it worked the first time
and Clark's women? a bit sexist there...

That's what it seem like to me though. Clark's Angels, staring Chloe, Kara, Lois, and Lana!
Chloe, the leader of the group with super tech skills, and the ability to heal.
Kara, the all around super bum kicker, and backup for Clark.
Lois, the hot headed combat specialist.
Lana, the big pain in my @$$, no really, the recon, and surveillance specialist.
Then there's big papa Clark, the head of the organization, and den mother to the girls.

... gods why do I watch this show.

I watch it because IMO it rules!

Okay I'll keep watching it because you think it rules, but if Lana, Kara, Chloe, and Lois every say "good morning Clark." all at the same time it's over.

Hey, I'm glad that me thinking it rules is a good enough reason for someone to watch the show. I wish that worked on everyone! I don't know, it would be a decent parody episode, but all in all, I'm with you on the last part. Well, probably not, but whatchagonnado!
