Linda was Supergirl's secret identity in the comics. Her full name was Linda Lee Danvers.

Linda Lee in the Silver Age, and then there was a Linda Lee Danvers post-Crisis when Supergirl's essence was transferred into Danvers and they merged to become one.

Yea its been know for months they were going to give a nod to the linda name for the episode. But yea it is alway great when they throw those things in.

Yeah, I agree about it being nice when they do little references like that. Or like when Lois was Sadie Blodgett (sp?).
But the real question is will they work it into being her secret identity or was it just a nice nod one time out?

I think they should have started in the begining with an earth name for her.Clark goes as Clark not Kal-el. She should be known as Linda Lee Danvers as Clark's cousin not Kara her kryptonian name. It'll just makes it more difficult to maintain her sercret idenity in the future.

It's not really a secret identity anymore though since Lex already knows her by both names.
