"Fracture" - Best 12th Episode of the Series?

Season 1: "Leech" - After a lightning strike, Clark experiences a normal human existence, and a classmate suddenly has the powers once wielded by Clark.
Seaso 2: "Insurgence" - Lionel and Martha are held captive at gunpoint while Clark sets out to save them after leaping off the Daily Planet.
Season 3: "Hereafter" - A new student is able to glimpse the future, and what he forsees for Lana is horrifying.
Season 4: "Pariah" - Alicia creates a false emergency aimed at revealing Clarks secret to the person best able to tell the world: journalist Chloe.
Season 5: "Reckoning" - Clark reveals his secret, propses to Lana, and she accepts while two profound tragedies rapidly follow. And, despite Clarks powers, only one of them can be undone.
Season 6: "Labyrinth" - Clark is attacked by a Phantom and awakens in a world where things are not what he expects them to be.
Season 7: "Fracture" - Lex finds Kara with no memory while Clark finds himself in a dangerous place, Lex's mind.

Labyrinth Reckoning and pariah were all awesome but I'll hold my vote till I see it!

Oh my gosh, there are so many good 12th episodes! 'Reckoning' is perhaps the most pivotal episode of the series, so that might be my favorite right now. But I really liked all of these episodes. I loved 'Insurgence.' One of my all-time favorite episodes. The other four I would give at least an 8 or a 9. I will give 3) 'Leech' a 9 and give 4) Hereafter, 5) Labyrinth and 6) Pariah an 8.

Never mind I gotta fix what I said; I just checked what I rated them on IMDB right after viewing it and it's a little different:

Reckoning: 10/10
Insurgence: 10/10
Leech, Hereafter, Labyrinth, Pariah all have 9s.

Dang I love 12th episodes! :lol: 'Pariah' helped save the character of Alicia (a little bit) for me after getting upset by what happened in 'Unsafe.'

It's a tough choice because all of the #12s are really pretty good in their own right.

I was really impressed with "Fracture". I loved seeing Lex's evil side as well as the good side of him bonding with Clark, who acted very Supermanly to protect little Alexander.

I can definitely say "Fracture" was better than "Reckoning" and "Labyrinth" (which was great up until Clark failed to learn the lesson that the story was telling him).

All of the twelfth episodes have been good. "Fracture" was another good one to add to the list. I'd have to say that "Labyrinth" would be my number one choice with "Reckoning" next and "Fracture" coming after.

I love all the 12th episodes.
But I'll have to say Labyrinth - still #1 for me. I absolutely love that eppy.
Then Reckoning, Fracture, Leech, followed by Pariah, Insurgence, Hereafter.
It's hard to put them in order when you love them all.

Wow, through 41 votes, this is closer than I expected.

This episode was extremely interesting in its own right. It's interesting to see another branch of Lionel's scientific experiments- which is about the point that Lex has gotten to when he says he can help restore Kara's memory (where he is actually going to implant other memories in her- but that's a topic for another day, in another section of this forum).

I loved 'Insurgence' so much, but 'Reckoning' was so emotionally impactful, that although I give both eppys a 10, I will give 'Reckoning' the slight nod.

I'd have to go with Pariah. That's probably the most "Oh my god, DID YOU SEE THAT!! I can't believe this is happening!" moment in the whole series for me. I was blown away by that, and Clark catching the car was bananas. I'd put Fracture at #2. Just when I was starting to feel sorry for Lex rebuffing Lionel's reconciliation attempts, lol. What's up with Lillian tho? I thought she was the loving, kind side of Lex's childhood, but she seemed just as cruel as Lionel with that last line. I'd actually put Insurgents at #3. I liked "Reckoning" and all, but you knew the whole time that something was going to happen to make none of it happen, if that makes sense. I really don't like episodes that do a bunch of amazing stuff, then say "Oops, it's all a dream/nightmare/hallucination, etc". Some of them are great, a chance to see things happen that you wish could but never would. Others seem like filler, and a waste of time.

And the Daily Planet Jump was stupid nice:)

Labyrinth. Regardless of the ending it was one of my favs of season 6. And I didn't have a lot of favorites for that season.

Yes. And perhaps even worse than that. That one episode did great damage to this show. And so did Promise and all the garbage they filled up the episodes that led up to it with that ruined those as well. Static is a perfect example of that.

Reckoning for sure, this was something fans had been looking toward for some time (Clark revealing secret) and a part of the general mythos (his father dying). After that I would pick Pariah, although I did enjoy the new episode.

God, I hate Reckoning (well, only after Lana decides to visit Lex - before that, the episode was perfect for me). If someday someone makes a list to try to find out in which episode the show started to go through "mysterious ways", I'll vote on this one (the other option would be Fragile and the start of the whole Lexana arc).

I voted Labyrinth, because although I enjoyed Reckoning's first half...the second half was a bit of a cop-out/disappointment. Labyrinth didn't disappoint me at all, and TW's acting was top-notch in that eppi. :)

Agreed on this being the worst. Labyrinth is a close 3rd to Pariah. I simply LOVED how they revealed it all to Chloe.
