Did Anyone Else LAUGH OUT LOUD???

Two scenes in this episode made me laugh really hard, moreso than any recent SV episode;


1) Lex Luthor getting shot. The serious music, the concerned faces...everyone acting like this hasnt happened before....... even though this is like the 20th time.

2) Lex forcing Clark to watch the Lexana Sex - The look on their faces was priceless, Clark looked like he was going to cry. :rotfl:

I guess I must have a different sense of humor, because I'm not really getting whats hilarious about this. For one thing, it seems unnecessarily exploitive. It also makes it seem like Lex is still carrying a torch for Lana, which is just :rolleyes: More of the no one gets over Lana garbage this show has going on. And again, it makes the Clex rivalry about who is/was banging Lana. No thanks! The whole Clexana triangle was a boring disaster, and nothing that brings it up again even makes me break out in a smirk, much less fits of hilarity.

Also, I like Clark, as odd as that seems around here. And just coming off the whole thing with Bizarro, I don't find anything amusing in him having to deal with this sort of thing again. No matter what I think of Lana, or Clana, it must be a terrible feeling to see your significant other getting busy with someone else. I felt terrible for Lana in Hydro, and I feel terrible for Clark here (both situations set up by Lex as it turns out).

And also, I wonder if there was any point to this scene at all. If there was follow-up within the episode, where we saw how this effected Clark, I'd say it served a purpose. But as it is? I'm not counting it will be relevant next time we get a new episode. So, again, what was the point?

I agree with this. there nothing amusing about that scene and Clark going through that kind of bull again for no freaking reason! It's so obvious there isn't going to be a follow up to that scene which like you said begs the question of why? the scene is useless! and atleast they could have used two people that actually look like their banging each other and enjoying it if they were going to use a pointless sex scene in an episode where the scene itself is irrelivent.

Still, they were stiff and I am not convinced. Like someone mentioned, this was a wasted opportunity. If they were going to do a scene like this, it should have been done in Hidden, Mortal, Pariah, Skinwalkers, Rush, etc.
