Since we've got two episodes tonight, here's the thread to discuss the second one.

Sypnosis:

A series of murders in Cardiff prompts Jack to call Doctor Martha Jones for help. They trace the killings back to a medical centre, and Martha has no choice but to go undercover in order to investigate the centre's real purpose. Not only do we have the return of Martha, but this is also the episode with TV's man of a thousand heart attacks, Alan Dale. Legend!

UK'ers: This episode airs at 21:50 on BBCThree - straight after episode 5 on BBC 2. :)

Oh that's right! I did read that they were going to go the two episode route tonight.
I can't wait to see Martha Jones again. :p
Maybe her & Ianto will have a discussion about having the same last name.

In the middle of watching it, really enjoying this one! :D

And you do realise Jones is probably the second most common Anglo-Gaelic name in the UK, don't you? ;)

Yup! It's one of the most common over here as well.
I wonder if the time period that Martha is in Cardiff, will coincide with one of the Donna episodes in the new season of Doctor Who?
I like it when we can establish a timeline between the 2 shows.

Oh my. Big Spoiler. Avoid if you've not seen the episode. I mean it.

Owen's dead. Heard a death was coming. Talk about out of the blue though!

Bigger spoiler if you've not seen the next time trailer at the end of this episode.

Ah, looks like the "Owen's part-Weevil" stuff will pay off. Shame no-one stays dead though... ;)

Oh wow! Excellent episode. Martha fits in so well with the Torchwood team. I don't like bugs, so those things freaked me the hell out. Lol! OMG! You were right Dan, I wasn't expecting Owen to die! That was a total shocker.
I guess they will bring him back to life next week. But how can they do it without the glove? Surely he can't stay dead. At least, from the previews, we get to see Martha again next week. How many episodes will she be in?

----- Added 5 Minutes later -----

The way she spoke of The Doctor, it was like she had decided to leave him for good. God I hope not. I don't think I can bear watching a whole season of Donna. That's probably not spoiler stuff, but I tagged it just to be safe. ;)

I liked Reset, only slightly less than Adam and Meat, but it was saved by Martha and the awesome acting of Owen and Tosh. The reason I say I liked it less, despite the plot being bigger and better, is just that I felt that didn't pull it off as well as they did Adam or Meat. Still a good episode. Somehow Torchwood has found a groove that I actually enjoy, so I hope they can keep it up.

I have to admit i thought it was a bit of an average episode, saved by Martha & Jim Robinson from neighbours, the bugs were pretty good.

I really enjoyed seeing Martha in this episode, especially with the connections to UNIT. She really seemed so much more of a "proper" Doctor Who companion.

Now if only we see her report to her science boss Liz Shaw... or if the Brigadier shows up... now I'll be happy.

Then again, no Brigadier on Torchwood... or they'd make it about him needing ****** or something...

I loved this episode! It was Brilliant! Although very sad at the end when Owen died! I didn't want ihim to go, i hate Cropley, its not fair that Martha couldn't save him!!:'(

Got to see this last night.

NOw, first let me say I am not a Doctor Who fan *ducks rotten tomatoes*, having only seen one full episode at this point ("The Empty Child"; I'm trying to see all the Captain Jack episodes, have them on tivo but that's the only one I've been able to watch so far). So I'm sure I missed a lot of cutesy stuff with Martha (thank goodness for fandom or I might not have even really understood who she was!).

But what I did see this episode I liked (except the giant bugs. I have a phobia about bugs so as soon as they came on I hid my eyes).

Jack being the total flirt, Tosh finally getting a date with Owen (though that seemed a little OOC of Owen to agree!), Ianto and his discussion with Martha about his and Jack's "dabbling" (hee!), and the shocking ending!

Loved the whole epsiode! (again except for the giant bugs!)
