this has got to be one of the best acted, scripted episode of Smallville this season, and perhaps for the past 2 seasons.

Every main player did great performances in this episode and proved that when the script allows the characters to grow and the plot to progress, we have a great show with amazing actors.

I was sort of on the ledge when Clark and Lana wasn't comfortable with each other, but it built up the final scene of the episode perfectly. I haven't felt like a Smallville resolved anything within an episode for a long time. This episode did so much, it almost felt like watching 2 episodes at once.

Erica's acting was amazing. The dialog between Lois and Oliver were some of the funniest on the show in a while, and yet there were parts so moving and natural, it almost felt like an episode of early Grey's Anatomy. It also puts Lois right on the track of being the Lois Lane of the future. Also the Clark and Oliver dialogs were very well written, which also puts Clark closer to where he needs to be.

I wish every Smallville episode can be like this. Well, at least I can dream.

But, I feel like once they try to bring Kara back to the story, they are going to have a hard time working that into "Siren"'s mode.
