Did anyone else notice that Lionel was pale in that scene with Lana at the office in Luthor Corp? I hope Mr. Glover is okay.

I think it was just the lighting or something. Also, John Glover has made some appearance off Smallville (at the Writer's Strike event in December) after this episode was filmed (sometime in 2007) and he looked perfectly fine. :)

Do you think the makeup artists maybe just really got into the characterization, and made him paler to show that he's emotionally weaker right now after what happened with Grant/Julian? Because I noticed KK seemed slightly pale in that scene too. Perhaps it was more of a parallelism thing between the two?

Yeah, I think that the makeup artists did that on purpose now that you mention it. :) It seems logical enough and probably with Lana too after what happened with Clark a couple scenes before too.
