View Full Version : Best ship from the mythos in this episode?

This episode was very mytho heavy. With Oliver and Dinah meeting for the first time. Clark and Lana wondering if their future was with each other. And Clark and Lois.
Out of all of them what would you say was the best portrayed ship (from the mythology) in this episode?

My vote goes to Lois and Clark....she cried for Oliver but, made a funny comment at the end.

I think Lois and Clark were the best mythos ship. Lois expressing her issue with sharing a person of great importance as foreshadowing and Clark realizing her prospective and hoping that she might someday be able to handle it.
Ollie and Dinah was a close second. They had great scenes and had great chemistry as well. Clana has to end so badly at this point, I just ignore their scenes, cover my ears and scream to drown out their dialogue.

Clois, hands down , no contest, that finale scene between lois and clark was pure mythology and foreshadowing, completely unforgettable.

Definitely Clois. She really confided in Clark. That's something that Lois doesn't do for everyone. She really trusts him and feels comfortable talking to him about her feelings and other very personal details about her own life. With this episode it was made very clear that they have become very very close friends now.
I think it's really sweet that rather than go out with a rich and famous millionaire, Lois just wants to hang out with Clark instead.
You couldn't help but have a huge smile after hearing that from Lois.

I liked Clana. It was interesting to see them interact this way and their relationship looked more real than ever before IMO.

I liked Dinah and Oliver, but there weren't much hints of their future together, except her comment about his taste in women.
But the Clois scene at the end, though it was full of irony, it was the best.

as the poll shows, Lois and Clark for sure
Clois, for sure.
I didn't really "feel" Ollie/Dinah, actually. It seemed forced to me. I mean, it made sense if a person approached like me - knowing that BC/GA are married in the future - but if you're just a random viewer, it would have been odd, given that Ollie just an emotional break-up with Lois & BC just recently almost sold him out to Lex.

I voted for Ollie and Dinah because I'm a big GA/BC shipper on JLU (haven't read much of them in comics, but love them on that series), so it was a lot of fun for me to see them together.

As cool as it was to see Ollie with Dinah at the end, it was Clois who really stood out to me.
I feel now that Clark and Lois are finally connecting much more than they ever have in the past. Even though the scene started with Lois saying "Enter at your own caloric risk", it quickly went to a real conversation between them. It was very serious and meaningful, and did give me some hope.
Lois saying "Besides, you know, why settle for hot, rich and famous when I can hang out with you?" with a comforting hug following was one of the key moments. To me it didn't sound sarcastic to me either, even if she maybe wanted it to sound that way. It came across as her genuinely wanting to spend time with him.

Definetly Clois.
It was very simillar to the conversation they have in the comics after Clark regains his powers after being normal for one year, where tells him she knows she has to share him, and that's part of why she loves him.
As Clark pointed out to Ollie, the Smallville Lois will get over this fear of sharing the one she loves with the world.
Also, the fac that she opened up to Clark (which is not something Lois does) was simply amazing. I must have watched that scene 10 times, and still couldn't help smiling every singel time :)
I also enjoyed watching Clana, but only cause Clark told her off, and i was kinda hoping in would be over by the end of the episode :( Oh well, maybe next time :D

Fair enough.
I admit, maybe I rushed this thread a little. Should've made things more specific. And added another ship or two.
I guess I could've included Lollie. Only, I don't think that they ever dated in the comics. Just interacted.

I liked all the ships in this epi, I thought everyone had great lines and delivered them all very well with each other. But the real winner in my book was Clois. I've never seen them like this before. I really hope there is more of that in the future!!!!!

Clois was the one that grabbed my attention. Their chemistry together even in that sad scene was great. Clana came in second with Dollie just trailing behind. For a while we haven't had any Clois scenes, so that was a nice touch to add to the episode. And with Clark in the comforting position this time too since Lois did it in "Bizarro".

My vote goes to Clois, and although I also like Dinah/Ollie, they didn't have a whole lot of interaction, so...And that Clois scene was pretty nice.

Clana but the scene between Clark comforting Lois was great because Clark really started to begin to understand what Lana has been feeling about their relationship. He started to realize what Lana was willing to sacrifice for him & her understanding of his duel life. For Clark to see Lois let Ollie go like that because she couldn't handle his duel identity reinforced for Clark how complicated things are with him and Lana but how much he appreciates her standing by him.

Clois, by far. Their scene at the end really cemented the fact that Clark and Lois seem to be very open with one another, which in my opinion had started back in the 2nd episode of the 4th season, "Gone"..To be completely honest, I have never seen Clark really open up to Chloe or even Lana. And this also goes for Lois. Normally she tends to defend her real feelings and hide them, but with Clark she can be completely honest. Besides the fact that Clark has seen her at her weakest point on more than one occassion..that has to count for something, right?

It was uber-cool to see Ollie and Dinah together in this episode. I like the Green Arrow/Black Canary pairing since they're so in love despite always being at each other's throats and jabbing each other so often with their own brands of sarcasm. I hope we see these two get more of a chance to shine together in future seasons.
