Oliver said (towards the end) about lois that she would not accept the double identity thing until time ticked backwards and the earth splits open, this was a reference to the ending of a superman movie...

I am talking about the Clois scene, Erica's Lois expressed the same concerns and in the same way Margot's Lois did on Superman II, but in that time Clark erased her memory
with the kiss.

I think Erica did it WAY WAY better and with more insight into the character of Lois than Margot Kidder, but yes it was similar.

That 'memory wipe kiss' was the stupidest thing ever in that movie, I think anyway. Then Bryan Singer made Superman look like a douchebag for not only erasing Lois' memory but erasing her memory while leaving her pregnant with his child. It wasn't really Supes fault because he didn't know, but still. Worst Plot Device EVER!
