Did anyone expect Lana to come clean how she killed Genevieve with the Air Stone as she was possessed by Isobel and had Lex cover it up now that she's in a confessing mood? They were willing to go back further in the series and talk about Clark's theft of the money he used to buy the Lamborghini with (in Exile).

I wonder if in the upcoming episodes Lana will reveal more to him thinking that he will forgive her for everything only to truly taint the image he had of her beyond any repair.

Hmm, I actually forgot about that. I guess, seeing as there was only about 3 minutes left in the episode and about 398981989181098908 things that they haven't told each other, there wasn't enough time to do so!

But yeah ... I'm sure more will be revealed to each other. I actually was surprised, when Clark first told her about his true identity, that besides kissing him, she didn't ask him any hard-hitting questions or make any revelations. She was just like, "Ahh okay. *smoochie*" I'm glad, that even though it's taken them both a while, that they're finally dealing with issues of the past instead of just saying "they'll forget it."

I didn't even THINK of that! But oh man. I would have voted this episode a 10 if that happened.

No, because Lana didn't kill her. Isobel Margaret witch-ancestor did while possessing Lana's body.

I thought the stone represented the element water?

Yeah, Isobel did possess her. But she was OK with Lex covering it up than coming clean at least to her friends.

The water stone was the one from Transference that had the same symbol as the one tattooed on Lana. It was in Lionel's pocket and what transferred Jor-El's essence into him as the Jor-El AI from the cave began its transfer into the crystals placed in the altar. I have a theory on this that says that the Jor-El AI's "humanity" is what Lionel received & that's why the FOS Jor-El has no compassion. The theory states that the humanity portion of the AI was only to be released once 2 out of the 3 stones that made the crystal that would create the FOS were placed in the altar. But that's another topic. :)

So, you're saying that the one Lana had when Isobel killed Genevieve was wind, and the one from 'Transference' was water. So what does the other stone represent?

I thought the stone from 'Transference' was the same one that was in the scene with Genevieve dying.

The 3 stones were Fire, Water, and Air.

Fire: This was found by Lex in Crusade and Kal-El stole it by breaking into his jet. He placed it on the altar. Isobel tried to steal it in Spell, but was burned and it flew into Clark's hand & gave him his powers back.

Water: First appeared in Transference. It caused the Clark-Lionel bodyswitch. Clark in Lionel's body used it to get his body back, but it fell on the floor during the riot and got kicked around. Lionel's prisonmate, Edgar, found it and was paid by Bridget Crosby to give it to her when he was released. She was killed by the Teagues and her body was found in Spirit. Jason had the stone as of that episode. Then in Ageless, Lionel poisoned Genevieve when she threatened to hurt Lex. He gave her the antidote on the condition that she give him the stone. It stayed with him until Clark placed the Air stone that Lana gave him in Commencement into the altar and then it started glowing and transferred Jor-El's essence into Lionel. Lex found it on the floor & put it in his vault & left the study in his mansion (the room in which the vault was in). Clark tracked down the water stone in the vault using the beacon it emitted and succumbed to kryptonite. Chloe pulled him out of the vault and he supersped away and unified the 3 stones.

Air: Lana unearthed this stone in China as Isobel. The map Bart stole from Lex in Run (the same one Isobel made disappear in Spell) led to this stone. Clark drew his own map based on his memory of the map. Lionel gave out copies to Lana & Jason too. Clark found the original map on the ancient garment in the vault in China. Soon after that, Isobel found it. She & Clark fought and it disappeared only later on to be revealed that Jason took it while Clark & Lana were out cold. He gave it to her. She staged a theft in (I think) the very next episode where she hid it in the cleanout of the storm drain outside her apartment. She made it seem like her apartment was broken into. She was seen holding it in her car in Forever before getting kidnapped by Brendan Nash. Then in Commencement, Genevieve Teague pulled out a gun on her and threatened to kill her. She once again took out the Air stone and kicked Genevieve. They struggled and Genevieve started choking her. Isobel possessed her and stabbed her with the Air stone. Lex covered up the "murder" even though Lionel knew the stone was used to kill Genevieve and demanded it or else he would tell the authorities about the "murder". Lana later in Commencement gave the blood-soaked Air stone to Clark who placed it into the altar, which caused Lionel to be downloaded with Jor-El's AI.

All right. I understand now. Thanks for explaining all of that. That's just what I needed! Now I don't have to go back and re-watch Season 4. jk

And thanks for the links to your fan fiction

It would have been nice, but it didn't really bother Clark when Isobel did it or that she hid it from Clark and friends. When Clark was under the influence of Red K, he did hurt Lana back so personally I think that it wasn't necessary. I think that she should have confessed about what she did to Lionel seeing as how it did hurt his "saint" guardian Lionel...
