I've really enjoyed Kara this season ... especially her struggles with human life and all. I can't wait for next week's episode, so I'd say she's my favourite!

i like kara, she is totally on the same level as clark (power wise) but she still gives him a little sassy-ness. it makes me laugh, almost as much as "chloe-isms"

Yeah, on Smallville she said she got her abilities indirectly related to the meteor shower, but it turns out that Andrea Rojas did show up elsewhere in DC Comics as "Acrata". I found this out first from the Smallville season 5 companion, & then I verified it with my DC Comics Encyclopedia (I'm nerdy in the extreme, whiter than sour cream...)

i agree, lana wasn't permanently superpowered, and the Angel of Vengence had that kryptonite suped-up heart transplant, that is somewhat meteor freak-ish and she shouldn't be on the poll

Out of these women, the only one I actually didn't like was Gloria. That 'Wither' episode was kinda weak.

Aethyr was a pretty good villain, having no sympathy like a true Kryptonian bad chick would. And of course, ya gotta love Lara to see Clark's (replicant) mother, and Helen Slater. (Actually, I don't think Slater did a very good acting job in her two episodes.)

It was Redux (Reaper was in season 1). Yeah, I actually thought about Chrissy after posting the thread (when it was too late). She wasn't a meteor freak since she was alive for a long time (before the meteor shower). The only kryptonite on Earth before that was brought to Earth by the Kryptonians who hid the stones and maybe some bits of kryptonite that the first Kryptonian on Earth (perhaps Kem-El?) gave to the Kawatche, which led to the skinwalkers.

I started to think that maybe she was an immortal like Curtis Knox, but unlike him, she had to feed on the youth of others. Plus they showed her crumbling to pieces. I doubt she resurrected again after that. I'm guessing she was Smallville's version of a Shtriga (like Dr. Hydecker in the Supernatural episode Something Wicked).

This was a tough choice. Much as I love Lara, much as I would love to love Kara more, I had to go with Raya. She's been the best 'supergirl' we've had on the show so far and I'm still sorry she had to die.

That episode was pretty bad. It really is one of the season's worst, and probably one of the fifteen worst in the series. I don't mind it, but it certainly wasn't a memorable episode by any means.

Well thanks for backing me up here! Not that I liked Isobel at all, haha, actually that storyline was the weak spot of Season 4. But I thought that she should be included in the poll... she does have powers, and she's not a meteor freak, so she definitely qualifies.

Oh yeah! The fake Kara! That was an awesome finale. I thought she was the real deal as Supergirl, especially when came out of the woods naked and destroyed that car. That was very similar to Kara's arrival on Earth when DC brought her back in 2005.

So "Kara"- does anybody remember her real name before Jor-El took her over?- and Isobel should be on this poll too. Wow, there's a lot of superpowered women! Probably more than men on the show overall :lol:

If we're talking 'Covenant' Kara then her real first name was Lindsey. I don't remember her last name, if could have been Harrison, but her first name was Lindsey, I'm sure of that.
