I don't know if it was the crappy lines that were written for him in this episode, but compared to others, TW's acting seemed a little forced and contrived in this epi. I've seen him perform a lot better in other episodes. It's like he was trying to "act" mad, but it really came across as "acting". It didn't feel real, especially when you compare it to Green Arrow, Lana and definitely Lois' acting in this episode.
On another note: (I didn't want to start a new thread for this)
Black Canary made me laugh. She was so over-dramatic when she was shot by Lex. I just watched it again. She didn't just fall when she was shot. There was a big delayed reaction and then she had to throw her shoulder back and fall in just the perfect cute pose. Hillarious. :rotfl:

Considering how awesome he was in Persona, I'm willing to let it go, but he did seem a little out-of-sorts compared to his usually great performances. Personally I think he was probably just over-worked and ready to kick back and enjoy an episode that didn't focus on him and his doppleganger.

He acts a little bit with his eyebrows. But besides that I thought he did well. :)

Yeah, I think I was still on a Bizarro high. His acting in that was superb. He as all about raising his eyebrows just to show how mad he was in this episode, and I felt like he was just spouting off lines, but not really feeling them. You're probably right, MidgardDragon, maybe he wanted to take a break, but it was noticeable.

I thought he did fine. I especially liked the scenes when he was angry. TW does angry really well.

For me, I thought KK, MR and strangely enough, JG were the slightly weak links this week.

I thought his angry scenes were the worst. I do not think he did angry well in this episode. And he was primarily angry the entire episode, and maybe that's why it was more noticeable, especially after his great acting in Persona.

Clark telling Lana off in her office was great. It's about time he let it out.

He may not have had as many witty lines like Ollie but his acting was as good as ever. GA is the witty guy.

The scene with Lois and all the scenes with Chloe were also great.

The part I felt was forced was when he told Lana " I don't want this to end" I had to rewind it to hear it a couple of times. I couldn't beleive what he was saying.

Sounded like he said "I want this to end":rotfl:

It seemed like his eyebrows were trying to keep up with his lines and then his lines were trying to keep up with eyebrows. I wouldn't say this episode was the best showcase of his ability. It just seems weird when TW tries to do angry, like he's not quite sure. I remember when he threw Lex against the wall in last season's finale. Then he was angry with Lionel and threw him against the wall. These just never seem to be his strongest moments.

Yes would have been great if he threw Lana against the wall. True emotions :D

Def. not, but I think TW is strongest when he's playing the "bad guy" Red-K Clark, Kal-El, Bizarro or when he's doing a love scene. He's usually really good in those roles.
