YES! :D

It FINALLY happened! First Clark talks to Chloe about how he no longer really trusts Lana and points out "she's supposed to know me better than anyone...and yet she claims she couldn't tell the phantom wasn't me", then calls Lana on her cr*p right to her face finally (and Lana indicates she actually prefered Bizarro), and then indicates he's not really interested in Clana anymore but hopes to still be friends.

I've been waiting for this for so long. It looks like Clana is finally kaput, and Clark and Lana are gonna settle for being good friends and nothing more.

BTW, it was great to see Clark FINALLY not treating Lana like a princess anymore.

I loved that Clark finally spoke his mind to Lana. I think he's been bottling up a lot of things with her, and I'm glad he finally spoke them out loud. I think he has every right in the world to have issues with Lana at the present time. And I think Lana is full of crap with her line about her transgressions being met with hypocritical judgement. Seems to me that he cut her MORE then enough slack when he found out what she'd done to Lionel, or all the stuff she was doing behind his back, or how she acted when she had his powers. The Bizarro stuff was the straw that broke the camel's back, and I don't think there's anything he said that I didn't feel was dead on!

Exactly. I'm glad he finally sees Lana for exactly what she really is.

It's about time, He had to put up with her for awhile now. She really needed to be put into her place for once.

AMEN!!!

I have been waiting 7 years to see that. That was the best scene since season 5.

LOL yes! I'm so glad someone mentioned this! I was like "WHAT IN THE HECK IS SHE TALKING ABOUT???" Clark judge Lana?? Clark hold Lana responsible for something?? I wish!!

Clark has always taken ANYTHING Lana has done and placed the blame on himself. He has ALWAYS held himself accountable for her "TRANGRESSIONS". I think I remember one episode, Lana even asked Clark to let her "take responsiblilty" for her mistakes. Was it wrath? So I was laughing incredulously that Lana claimed that Clark "had ALWAYS looked at her with JUDGEMENT". BWAHAHA!!! That's insane.

Even my sister who has always been a Lana fan (much to my dismay), said that she was insane. My sister said that she was just throwing a fit because Clark was not giving in to her like he usually does.

Yes it was great seeing him stand up to her. I just felt that all his effort was negated by his conversation with her at the end. He is such a wuss. He cannot stand up to Lana for more than 5 seconds. I can't stand it. He basically stated that because he has made mistakes under the influence of redK it made her mistakes OK. Just anither time he absolved her of guilt. ARRGGHH!!!

And he is reinforcing bad behavior in Lana. She basically knows she can do whatever evil things she wants (as we've seen so far this season) and then all she has to do is guilt Clark and look at him with her "doe eyes" and he'll cave. It's so disgusting.

And he didn't have to be on RedK to stick up for himself.

Go Clark!

I was pumping my fist for him the whole time. Go Clark Go!

I bet there's still more he'd like to say but keeps it bottled up. There should be another Red K use episode and unleash EVERYTHING! And having Kara affected would be interesting too.

I agree. I thought about it, and then I decided that his conversation with Lois, about how hard it is to be a hero's girlfriend who has to lead a double life, made him feel responsible for making life hard for Lana and so he relented and decided to try and work things out with her.
so I am gonna credit Lois with re-wussing.

That definitely makes sense, he can't stand up to her.

I second all of you..............however.............I did not like Lana's line "I'm still commited to US"...........God I hopewe don't see a backwards downslide on Clark's part in future.

You know, I thought I was done with the RedK epis until you said this. Now I want another one!

I hate it when people say "us" as in "I'm still commited to us."

Such a worthless redefining of the word. Basically what you're just saying is I want to continue a superficial relationship where we jump through the hoops, say "I love you dear," and go to work in the morning. It doesn't have any real sincerity to it, and I hope to god Lana is still hiding the final straw which pushes Clark over the edge for GOOD.
