Well, I thought Lana/Kristin looked really good with glasses. She does wear glasses to see in real life. If you checked Youtube out when she was in NY with Allison on that weekend to be judges at a competition, she wore glasses at some point.

BTW, Im a Lana fan. But I wouldnt judge so harshly on a character or person that I did not like.

Wearing glasses does not necessarily mean needing glasses. People do wear them as a fashion accessory these days, without any sort of prescription. It's simply for aesthetic value. :cool:

I loved George Reeves' glasses in the 1950's TV Superman. In the early eps it's quite obvious there's no glass in them :) In the later eps George wore his real ones....

Lana looked really good in those glasses. Like someone said, when you deal with computers all day long everyday, you lose a bit of your vision.
I started wearing glasses when I started to use computers alot for work.
So yes Lana would wear them if she dealt with computers. The glasses were just fine, it did not look too big for her face.
Although she is a little too skinny these days. She does need to add a little bit of weight. A little bit not alot. I think she is naturally a beautiful person.

KK is gorgeous. The woman could wear the most hideous glasses in the world and she'd still be beautiful. So the glasses didn't take away from her beauty.

BUT, it was odd seeing them after 7 years of no mention. It kind of reminds me of when they made Lana start wearing dark colors when she hooked up with Lex. And then when she's back to being pure, she's wearing light colors.

That was a huge shocker! Lana has never worn glasses in her life. Even when we saw Clark with glasses on before it was really weird. Lana still looked great in them they showed that she's very smart and sophisticated. Plus the glasses were very classy.

Didn't it seem she only wore them when she signed her name (Lana LUTHOR, nonenthless!), then she took them off when she was talking to Lionel. Some people (even young ones) actually need glasses for reading/writing... But I think it might be to emphasize her "serious business woman" (she's running a foundation) role. Also, usually she wears business attire and has her hair up when she's "at work" there.

BTW I am really glad they started playing more with her hairdo again - the beginning of this season she just had the long straight hair, not my personal favorite...

Hmmm... she probably didn't need them then. But whose to say that although the actress needs glasses, that the Lana character needs them? She could just be wearing them to look dignified since she is the head of a foundation.

What the hell is your problem?! Nobody is saying anything bad about Kristin! On the contrary, they are saying that even thouh they dislike her character (and who could blame any of them, when it seems that Kristin herself is fed up with her), they still think she looked very pretty. The only thing they said other than how pretty she looked, was the fact that she looks skinny as a wraith. Learn to seperate a character from real life, please.
