OMG! Clana said their good byes in the last scene! At least thats how I saw it. I think they are going to be friends.
The scene with Lana and Clark at the Foundation, who is "we"? Clark asked but Lana never answered it. Could there still be a real Lana? Could there still be a clone runnign around? Who is "we"? Its not Lionel, not Green Arrow, not Chloe, not Lex, not Clark, so who could still be out there helping Lana? Definitely not brainiac.
Pete Ross?
Any ideas, anyone?

The "we" Lana was refering to was her and Bizzaro Clark, and Clark does make that connection and brings it up when she hesitates after he asks the question

I think they realized they were going down a bad road and both decided to work on fixing the problem not break up and be friends.

I think you missed the point of the scene.
First, Lana didn't have to answer who she meant by "we" it was obvious to Clark as it should've been to everyone, she was talking about her man Bizzy!
And did you not hear her when she said she was still committed to their relationship? And Clark, while not reciprocating completely, indicated in a sort of roundabout way that wasn't ready to throw in the towel just yet either

Between the comments made to Clark by Ollie, the comments made to Clark by Lois, and the comments made to Lana by Clark, Clark pretty much sees the writing on the wall, I think. He is letting go. He doesn't really want to, but his time on ice pretty much helped Lana discover what she truly wants from the man in her life. She admitted it was Biz, not Clark, who made her the happiest. She has been in love with a Clark who can never exist, for so long; much like Clark has been in love with the perfect Lana, who also does not exist. Clark has to accept his inabilities for once rather than focus on his abilities. He is unable to be the man Lana wants to love and spend her life with. He is unable to change his destiny, even though he doesn't yet know exactly what that is, he knows that fate has something in store for him. Jorel, Jonathan, and Martha have told him this. Even Lana, alluded to the fact that his destiny might not be on his farm in Smallville when she told him that she did not want to keep him from the world who would someday need him. Chloe has pushed him to be a hero to the world. As has Ollie, the mind control guy in Hug, and there are others. Clark said it himself when he was walking out of the hospital with his parents right after Jonathan had his hear surgery, that maybe he should come forward and tell the world his secret and do what good he could. Seems the only person who hasn't seen Clark's potential is Lois; the one who will propel forward the most to his eventual destiny. How ironic.
Yep, I think Clarkie boy is waking up. Of course he will probably hit the snooze a few more times, but the alarm has gone off. Clana is on life support barely holding on.

Well said! As annoyed I was that the writers kept dragging out the doomed relationship of Clark & Lana, I now better appreciate that it made sense. How many girls was I infatuated with only to end up marrying someone completely different who was so much better for me?!? (this is rhetorical; don't try to guess) I can identify with Clark that it took him time to figure out that the relationships/vocations we think we want & the ones we are destined to don't always intertwine.
