Is it like that in the comics where she can alter it? First time she uses it it destroys GA's arrows, but not making Chloe and Ollie's ears hurt. Next time she uses it, it breaks glass. Third time it hurts Clark's ears. Does it only hurt his cause he has superhearing?

I'm assuming her super yellin is on a frequency that normal humans can't perceive, so that's why it hurt clark.

I'm sure with his roar, she can alter and change it depending on what she wants to accomplish with it. Just like with all of Clarks powers. Like the volume button, im sure she dosent just have one setting of a roar.

Can you alter your screams? Can you whisper, versus full on yell?

Well, so can the Canary. She can just scream at a range far greater than any other human can.

As for hurting Clark, no, it shouldn't have. Superhearing does not make his ears supervulnerable. If that were the case, and anyone shot a gun anywhere near him, his head should explode, as his ears would not be able to take it, being so sensitive and all.

Exactly, but for some reason SV retconned his ability and now he seems vulnerable to real loud frequencies.

Well, yeah. I just hope no one ever sneezes near him when he picks up a far off cry for help. The sudden loud noise may make his head explode.
