i think we may get a brainiac is destroyed (so we think) and then he comes back in the final seconds and kills lionel right in front of clark but he does it in the guise of lex luthor. come on that would be so cool and then clark would really hate lex for shooting his dad. Lex's dad that is :D:D:p

There is no reason for braniac to finish with Lionel...besides season 8 without Lionel will be bored...

I would rather have the real Lex kill his dad, just for the purpose of him taking that very final step into being forever evil.

I think BrianIAC might die before the season ends. Maybe not. I'm not completely sure on that one.

The writers could follow the comics story with Kara Zor-El. In that, she comes to Earth and does not have her memory. Darkseid takes control of her for a while, and she is this freakin sexy evil Supergirl until Superman and Wonder Woman are able to take her back. So, with Kara's memory erased on the show, I could see Darkseid coming in somehow and taking her over for a while.

Also, in one comics story with Matrix, who is much like Supergirl, she loses her memory and Lex begins to get in a relationship with her. I could see the writers going that direction as well with their Kara.

I'm hoping it's a Brainiac-Bizarro (resurrected) combo. I have a feeling Brainiac will use Lana's lust for Bizarro to bring him back in the more classical sense.

Yeah, but Lionel wouldn't do something like that anymore because he watches out for Clark, being Jor-El's emissary and all. Now Lex is another story... haha

If Darkseid or Doomsday arrives on smallville, the Earths pretty much finished, clark cant even fly yet. How will Zod return? I seriously doubt that clark's going to open up the portal for Zod (hes not THAT dumb). It has to be braniac, would be cool to see bizzaro back but then clark will get his ass handed to him if he does

After one too many days without one of Lana's perfect blueberry pancakes, another bolt will fall out of the old tractor and Clark will finally snap. He will run around trying to take over the world. Chloe and Lana will team up and save the day, oh and Kara will fly around a lot, using up the FX budget without actually doing anything.

Heres my theory Brainiac finds a way to trap humans in the phantom Zone and lana somehow get caught clark blaiming himself opens the PZ to free Lana and accidently letting Zod and everybody else out of the Zone and Zod takes over Dr. Curtis Knox.

I was also correct in believing that Lex and Kara would get in some sort of relationship- even though it never got to the point of being romantic. (Luckily Kara was quick enough to realize Lex's machinations.)

Honestly I have been beliving this since the season 6 besides I thought that the guy who saved Clark from that Phantom was Darkseid in the episode Static, but later I found that it was Martian Manhunter.

Oh yeah I can see why you thought that, for sure. I'm not steeped in comics lore so when Clark was saved in 'Static' I didn't know who it was. (I didn't know about the whole Oreo cookie connection either- but now that I do, that's really cool). I didn't even like 'Static' all that much, but I thought the MM reveal was really cool, even though I didn't know who it was at the time.
