These critters are always coming back so while we think he's destroyed, we also thought that Milton Fine was destroyed along with all copies of him and heees back. So, my theory is this is a way to get rid of Lana in a unique way. Bizarro comes back, she tames him and he then pulls a Dax Ur (somehow without blue K) and they live happily ever after. Bizarro goes from a failed lab experiment to eternal Lana love. The last scene is what spurred this in my mind; Bizarro has ruined the relationship between Clark and Lana (hooray!!!) so why not let Lana have the sweet open attentive alter version of Clark and Clark can fulfill his destiny and everyone wins.
