View Full Version : How will Lois react to Grant's (probable) death?

Haven't seen Lois in a while, and I know Grant broke up with her, but she should still be devastated. and then she will go investigate it to find out who murdered him. I feel bad for the Lois character. While Clark has had someone, even though it is not perfect, Lois always has a relationship that doesn't seem to last more than a month and it is always her being dumped. And she still cared about grant, and he is dead:(:(:(

She shouldn't waste any tears on that pathetic excuse for a clone.
She's empathetic to human suffering, so maybe she will be upset.
But I know how I'd like her to react.
Lois: "Meh! These things happen."

I'm guessing she'll feel some kind of sadness, but not too much especially if she finds out that he's a Luthor some how. I think that if she finds that out, then it might numb some of the pain of Gr...Julian's death. :)

Will they even mention his death?

Probably like Alcias death in Recruit, as if it never happend.

I feel bad for Lois.
It was a mistake anyway for her to be with her boss. But I still love Lois and I don't want to see her hurt.

Agreed. They have too much to cover in next week's episode. They won't have time to deal with this. They'll just think that we'll realize her grieving happened in "off-screensville".

She won't react at all. It will be like Grant never existed.

Persona, and Julian/Grant, did a pretty decent job of showing why Lois fell for him. I really liked him.
Hope they do show Lois hearing about his demise, would love to see it fuel her journalistic "fire".

Lois not being able to hold onto a relationship was happening before she even moved to smallville, she has said it herself. I feel bad for her though, she didn't didn't know he was a second clone of Adrian, and she didn't know that he was a Luthor. Poor Lois.....:(

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't show her react, cuz they seem to be taking out a lot of things personally.
I just think it's kinda a coinsedence that he died right when Oliver was gonna come back...

Who knows? Maybe Lex will cover up Grulian's death. Maybe he'll make up a story that he was just fired and took a job at another paper.

Totally. How convenient! :rotfl:

I think she will be upset because they really liked each other.

The death of Grant will also be the return of Oliver Queen. Lois will get over it and find herself in bed with Oliver.

well it wouldnt surprise me that any excuse lex uses about grants disappearence would have her suspicious afterall in "siren" lex uses BC to track down GA, and if BC ends up telling lois that lex hired her to kill GA this hired hit in lois's mind would have her following lex in "fracture"

Oh, yeah - everyone forgot about him by Kara. I remember you, Wes! You brave, shiny pants wearing super soldier!
All joking aside, Grant's death will be ignored and never spoken of again (Alicia 2.0), or he will inspire Lois to take down Lex and become a better reporter (Wes 2.0).

I think they'll never mentioned the Grant/Julian arc again, at least not as a part of Lois's revenge against Lex, plus even if she grieves for him, she has no probes against him, I doubt even Lionel does.

That's disgusting.
I didn't mean an affair between them. Just Lionel feeding Lois information to bring Lex down.

This was probably the first episode that I didn't find Grant/Julian to be a bit annoying. I guess they wanted to redeem him before he met his maker. That whole exchange between him and Lex was just classic. "How many times have you been married?" :rotfl:

It would have been funny if Lex got all pouty and tried to explain why he had got married so many times. "Come on, Desiree doesn't count, she trick me with her pheromones" lol

Haha, in this case, Grant parted ways with his "maker" when he got killed.

Probably, especially with some certain people showing up next week's episode.

Even the Lex in the comics has been married a lot though. He might not like it, but it's true. :p I think in the comics he had like seven or eight wives (I don't remember the exact number) and that was before he set his matrimonial sights on Lois. LOL
Lex = Pimp.

She will be upset...When Oliver broke up with her she was upset still like in Crimson and he was mentioned. But, who know's anymore.

Oliver she really loved, even kissed him good bye. Grant she 'liked' When Grant tried to kiss her she blocked him. There is a big difference between Lolliepop and Lorant, I think anyway.
I actually doubt it'll get mentioned, so probably no reaction from Lois. Though she did like him, I think she might have still liked him even if she DID find out he was a clone. So if they would show it in the next episode she'd probably be a little sad, but there's no crying in baseball and Lois HATES being weepy or to look as if she is in mourning . .. so she'll be sad but would try to pretened like she isn't torn up or anything.

Really? I managed to hate him even when I thought he was being funny. The things he said to Lex were well-deserved, but that doesn't make me like him as a character.
