As much as I love the Clark man, and believe me, I do, he is not the brightest alien out there.

He had blue k. Blue k that he knew would take away his powers while he was touching it. It wouldn't take very much, since a ring did the trick the first time. yet he used the entire rock to kill bizzaro, when he could have chipped off a bit for himself to use when he wanted to do the nasty with lana.

The writers should be hit more often. If they had not introduced blue k as a kryptonian power repressor, this question as to why he didn't keep some for himself would not have to be asked.

Chloe said Clark never forgets anything. How many times has he flaked on her or forgotten to help her out with something way back in Season 1 (due to the Lana-blinders of course)?

Also, how is it that he forgot to read Kryptonian at the end of Season 5 after having the info uploaded into his brain in Season 2.

They can have sex, they HAVE had sex. I'm sure they both satisfy each other very much. The sex was only an issue at first, but now they know how to do it without hurting Lana. We have to assume, as these two are in an adult relationship, they are having sex as often as regular lovers do.

Also, having ANY kind of Kryptonite around is a very stupid and very dangerous idea.

That's not the case, last Season he killed one of the Phantoms. Can't remember the episode, it was the one that was fighting to death in the cage (WWE Kane).

MaryJaneWatson, makes a great point. That Blue-K would have come in handy. Not having sex is creating a lot of tension between Clark and Lana, and they are not having sex, by the way. The last time they had sex was when Lana had Clark's powers. As she told Chloe, "they generally can't." That has not changed as was evidenced by the last scene in Persona. So, oh well, guess Clark missed the ball with that one. TPTB need the sex issue though to create more tension between Clana.

I would suggest you watch the first half of season 5 and all of season 7 over again. Then you will get what I am saying.

I am not hung up on the sex thing. I am hung up on plot craters and careless writing.

clark in last years season final "phantom" spoke to lionel and MM about taking on the phantom and both lionel and MM said that the FOS crystal clark had would have very little effect on bizarro

if clark was as smart as he himself and every1 around him claims he is he wouldnt have asked lionel how to defeat bizarro in this ep why didnt he simply ask lionel before in "PHANTOM" before he encountered the phantom in the 1st place

Besides, I wasn't even thinking about the blue k being used for...you know...until this thread brought it up. But then again, the blue k wasn't destroyed when Bizarro died, so who's to say Clark and Lana can't still use it?

And btw, why do we have to have yet ANOTHER "Clark is just stupid for not doing ____" thread? For Pete's sake, ALL the characters do things that might not seem smart, even Chloe, and yet everyone just loves to pile on Clark and say "oh, he's dumb." I hate how ppl always single Clark out for the "he's so dumb" treatment, when all the characters do things that don't seem smart.

um, yeah, I single out any character that does something stupid. This week, it was Clark.

all I am saying is the writers need to be less careless in their writing. To bring Blue K in as a power repressor, something Clark has been wanting forever, it's stupid to think Clark wouldn't keep some for himself.
