Bizarro's voice change?

So he could control what he sounded like? Around Lana and Chloe he sounded like good ol Clarky but when he spoke to Brainiac and Jor-El he had the deep voice he had in "Bizarro". I'm so sad he's dead. Man. What a way to go. Blown to pieces.
