i reckon he'll do a great job playing both Clark and Bizarro, as he has done previously with dual roles.

what do other think?

Well here's what I think:
As Clark-Fine
As Bizzaro-Smokin' Hot!!!!

I wonder if they're changing his voice digitally or if he's changing it himself. Either way, Bizarro voice is cool.

I'm not a huge fan of Star Wars, but this quote comes to mind when I'm asked to compare Clark and Bizzaro.

"No. No different. Only different in your mind." ~Yoda

I really liked what he did with this character. It has to be tough for him to come up with yet another variation, but I think he did a terrific job. I especially loved the scenes between him and James Marsters. It was a really strong episode for him.

It was truly awesome how he was so subtle in "Gemini" that we (if we didn't look at the spoilers) knew something was off, but didn't know until that last scene! (My friend screamed out loud, not expecting that!) Then this week we see how he is subtle with Lana, but loses it with Chloe, alerting her red flag. That had to be hard to play, two versions of the same person, yet one of them is acting too! Very well done, indeed! :D

Another thread said they were doing the voice alteration digitally.

I really liked what he did with the characters, specially the voice thing, but it was some moment when Clark came back that actually felt a little weird to me, it didn't surprise me that Chloe wasn't sure about who he was.

Tom is good at playing the evil guy, and at the same time act so incocent.

I wonder if it is his real voice, or if they use a voice changer to make it lower.....

I agree, TW always does a great job but this episode was just beyond wonderful

I kinda felt he was acting too much like Kal did in seasons 2-3 when he played Bizzaro, but it was distinctly different from Lionel in Transference.

I've said it many times before: Welling is never so good as when he's playing evil!

Don't get me wrong, I think Tom is an amazing actor who has had to bring life to a character that hasn't been allowed to have many facets over the years. But you can see (and he has said) just how much he loves playing 'skews' of his character (or even someone altogether, a la Transference--possibly Tom's best performance on the show, IMO).

The scene in Oliver's office, where Lana admits her love for Bizarro...
perfect!

Tom's so great playing a bad guy! haha ! And he even scared the heck out of me in Splinter his paranoia and stalking of Lana was creepy. If TW wants to break out of being type cast after SV he should play a bad guy. :)
