LOVED that moment! Did you see the emotion in both of their eyes? It was truly touching. Choked me up. As far down the dark path as Lex has come, he still felt a sting of remorse and longing for Lionel's approval. And the Lionel who would've relished in Lex's ruthlessness is now gone; now the good Lionel only wishes for the goodness in Lex to return.

Another great line was when Lex said, "I did what you didn't have the guts to do," to Lionel with such arrogance, and in the scene with Julian:

"I gave you everything!"

"Lex Luthor doesn't do anything for anybody but himself."
