What would happen if Sylar got the Hatian brain

If Sylar ate the Hatian brain or whatever he dose with the brain to get there powers, would he have the Hatian powers? Is it ture that the Hatian can prevent other people from using their powers? Could peter get his powers by wlaking near him?

only prob is, the min sylar or peter got near the hatian they wouldnt be able to use their powers... so i dont think peter's 'sponge' ability would be functioning and i dont think sylar's origional 'understanding how things work' ability would be functioning

What if Sylar pick something up to knock the Hatian out like he did to the guy with telekines? I imagine when the Hatian knock out Peter powers could probably work. Sylar could take his brain then. Would be a scary thought like you said.

What if a person had super intelegence, and he was near the Hatian. Would he just be normal, or would he be higher/lower intelegence than a normal person. Im sure that no one can say for sure. I just thought I would interesting to think about

I read somewhere that not all abilities are affected by the Haitian. Healing, "understanding how things work", and all that don't get affected.

If Sylar at the Hatian's brain I would cry. It wouldn't be as bad as the little girl who can find people with powers. That's the worst.

Second worst would be the shape shifting girl.

Next would be Claire. Though maybe he doesn't need to eat Claire. He's so hard to kill already.

Peter would be the worst. He would'nt need to get anybody brain then. He could just walk by them and get thier powers.

So far with the Hatian, we know he can do the following:
Block individuals while letting others use their powers
Block in general anyone within a certain area

And I believe, though I don't remember where, that the Hatian can block all of Sylar's abilities except the basic Intuitive Aptitude.

I have to disagree. I think we'd get a pretty sick Sylar if sylar got Hiro's Brain although he probably could of done that in the future 5 years ago when they got him tied up so that was stupid of him. Now think about it Hiro ability there's probably only two abilities that can go up against Hiro ( Peter, and the Hatian). But here's the thing if Sylar used Hiro's ability he can go back in time and kill someone from the past as I'm sure it's possible because Hiro almost died in the future so it should work the other way around. Sylar has met up with the people who could go against him pretty well i.e Peter and the Hatian. Soo if Sylar starts off he could 1. take brains from the past, future or w/e then stop time to get the brains he want and surely he'll have enough and be strong enough to take over the world eventually. A good example of this is Cell from Dragonball Z we all know that he was a kickarse monster and was probably one of the hardiest to kill due to the time travel machine he had. He's like Sylar started off weak, but as long as he has time travel ability he'll get stronger before anyone can get strong. Cell would of won if he wasn't greedy and bought the fighters too much time.

Another extremely valid point. Which all this does is simply state that we don't really know how the Haitian's powers work. Sometimes he blocks what appears to be everyone's powers and sometimes he blocks certain people while others can still use their abilities around him...like Elle or Eden or Nathan or Matt (when he focused really hard). Be funny if the Haitian's power stopped himself from using his own power lol...then he wouldn't have a power...my brain hurts. But i wonder if he could take someones memories while block other peoples power at the same time or would he have to stop blockin powers to be able to use his power to erase memories? Also i wonder if the Haitian could block Claire's power...if so then that means she really could die...but it'd prolly just kick back in when he left and she'd come back to life, so never mind.
