Buffy - Season 4:

Episode 64 - "Pangs" - Crossover; Angel comes to Sunnydale (though hides himself from Buffy in particular) due to the vision Doyle had regarding her.

Episode 76 - "The Yoko Factor" (http://buffyworld.com/buffy/videos/buffy076.mpg) - Crossover; Following the events with Faith in LA, Angel once again comes to Sunnydale in order to make peace with Buffy over the harsh words he gave her, ending up sparring with her 'current' boyfriend along the way.

Angel - Season 1:

Episode 1 - "City Of" - Crossover; In Angel's very first episode, Buffy appears in essential flashback footage when he first meets Doyle. Angel also calls Buffy near the end of the episode, allowing us to hear her voice for a brief moment.

Episode 3 - "In the Dark" (http://buffyworld.com/angel/videos/angel003.mpg) - Crossover; After the events with Spike's search for a certain ring in Sunnydale, he comes to LA just as Oz arrives to deliver it to Angel himself.

Episode 7 - "Bachelor Party" - Semi-Crossover; The very end of this episode begins the special dual-crossovers, as after Doyle's seen a photo of Buffy, he later has a vision of her in specific battle she'll need Angel's help in.

Episode 8 - "I Will Remember You" (http://buffyworld.com/angel/videos/angel008.mpg) - Crossover; Perhaps the best and most pivotal crossover of all, Buffy herself comes to LA after the events in her own episode, "Pangs", and she and Angel have a truly unforgettable episode together.

Episode 18 - "Five by Five" - Crossover; Faith comes to LA after her awakening in Sunnydale, taking an assassination job from Wolfram and Hart in order to kill Angel.

Episode 19 - "Sanctuary" (http://buffyworld.com/angel/videos/angel019.mpg) - Crossover; With Angel attempting to help Faith through her issues, Buffy returns to LA thanks to an earlier phone call Angel had made to Giles, determined to end things with Faith in Angel's city.

Buffy - Season 5:

Episode 85 - "Fool for Love" (http://buffyworld.com/angel/videos/angel029.mpg) - Crossover; This is rather unique in that it's not Angel whom appears, but Angelus in the form of flashbacks Spike has in recounting his 19th century days (although Angel from 1900 does make a cameo), alongside Darla and Drusilla as well.

Episode 92 - "Crush" - Crossover; Yet another unique area in that none of the main Angel series characters appear, but Drusilla returns to Sunnydale after her trilogy in LA for one final (outside-of-flashbacks) plot, wishing to get Spike back.

Episode 95 - "Forever" (http://buffyworld.com/buffy/videos/buffy095.mpg) - Crossover; Following the sudden death of a certain main member of the series, Angel visits Sunnydale for a single night in order to pay his respects and comfort Buffy.

Angel - Season 2:

Episode 29 - "Darla" (http://buffyworld.com/angel/videos/angel029.mpg) - Crossover; In unison with the Buffy episode "Fool for Love", this is mainly a flashback-type episode that has a few cameos by Spike.

Episode 39 - "Disharmony" (http://buffyworld.com/angel/videos/angel039.mpg) - Crossover; Harmony comes to LA after finally ending her relationship with Spike, reuniting with Cordelia, whom meanwhile makes a call to a teeth-brushing Willow whom informs Cordy of a few lady facts she's missed out on.

Episode 44 - "There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb" - Crossover; Willow surprises the whole gang at the very end of this season finale with important news from Sunnydale, news regarding Buffy.

Angel - Season 4:

Episode 79 - "Salvage" - Semi-Crossover; A prisoner inmate attacks Faith with orders and a knife given to her by the First's bringers, whom later must escape due to news from Wesley regarding Angel, prompting a brief phone call to be made to Buffy's house.

Episode 81 - "Orpheus" (http://buffyworld.com/angel/videos/angel081.mpg) - Crossover; Willow returns to LA after the phone call Fred gave her, ready to do what she once did before in Sunnydale...re-ensoul Angel.

Buffy - Season 7:

Episode 143 - "End of Days" (http://buffyworld.com/buffy/videos/buffy143.mpg) - Crossover; Albeit occurring at the very end of this episode, Angel returns to Sunnydale for the first time in over two years, carrying with him the amulet Wolfram & Hart bestowed upon him for Buffy's final battle with the First Evil.

Episode 144 - "Chosen" (http://buffyworld.com/buffy/videos/buffy144.mpg) - Crossover; Angel and Buffy establish they still have a love for one another while Angel gives her the amulet for Spike to wear, as Spike meanwhile goes through the events that lead to his status in Angel's final season.

My favorite is "I Will Remember You" from Angel Season 1. Truly stellar episode and the last time we get so much Buffy/Angel interacting. I think there was some nice foreshadowing to Buffy's ending in season 5, as well as the End of Days war in season 7. Was also the last time Buffy and Cordelia would ever see each other, as well as a display of how much Angel was willing to sacrifice for the greater good.

okay, any fan of whedon had to love the crossover i will remember you. such moments are so rare in the 'verse with joss that you have to cherish them all - but this episode...amazing!!

the scenes we all wanted to see, with the ending we shouldn't have been surprised at. it was awesome while it lasted, but very sad for bangel fans everywhere :( - thank goodness i'm not one of them!

so it was great, but my favorite is orpheus. great episode. great dialog.

cordelia: "you wanna go glinda, we'll go!"
-
willow: "you must be angel's handsome yet androgynous son."
-
cordelia: "a coma, huh?," "like she hasn't pulled that one before." :rotfl:

awesome episode. i mean it had faith, wesley, willow, angelus, cordy...what's not to love!

i'm going to have to say it's hands down, my favorite angel episode :D

Either 'In the dark' or 'Disharmony'. Both full of humour, which is what I look for the most on buffy/angel. I'm also a huge fan of the angelus/faith sequences on 'Orpheus'. I found willow annoying though.

In terms of story writing my favourites have to be 'Fool for love' and 'Darla', the way you had to watch both episodes to get the full picture was genius.

What was the Angel episode, where Buffy showed up , a monster broke in, they tried to kill, spent the whole day together, angel was human , ate peanut butter, angel had to go back in time and destroy the stone on the monster's forehead, and buffy walked out?
what is the name of that episode?
That is my favorite buffy/angel crossover.

i will remember you!

i only realised last week that the song at the end of season one's 'angel' when she kisses him is called 'i'll remember you' too. i don't know if that was intentional although it does make me a bit weepy

slayer

completely intentional, that being a mere coincidence would be like tripping, falling and accidentally kissing someone.

I would have to say "Pangs" just because it was so freaking hilarious! :rotfl:

But I also did love "I Will Remember You" because I of course started out a Bangel fan but by the end of the show I was Spuffy all the way! :)

pangs, really? that didn't even seem like a cross-over, they didn't have any screen time together

spike was only good when he was a vicious murderer on buffy and whenever he was with angel. Hilarious!

spike was best as comic-relief, attempting to be part of the gang and loving buffy unconditionally (unlike that frakker angel) :D

"In the Dark"
"Five by Five"
"Fool for Love"

I'm a Spike fan... and a Faith fan... and in the Dark had that part where Spike was dubing Angel. LOL.

Voted the funniest moment on Angel ever in the Angel Magazine. ;)

Plus, Spike got too bored to carry out his brilliant plan and just hit Angel with a two-by-four. Got to love the tenacity.

i will remember you
sanctuary
in the dark

'i will remember you' had me crying for days. what a horrible situation. and they make such a wonderful couple. really showed you what they could have had if destiny hadn't screwed their love.

sanctuary was one of the first times i thought 'you go angel' when he was putting Buffy down. i mean she hit him, and then looked all shocked when he hit her back? and angel's speech to her about him not being able to move on was brilliant... i'd say he never should have apologized but then we wouldn't have gotten to see him fighting Riley!

in the dark had a creepy villain, spike mocking angel (which there was plenty more to come in angel season 5), some angel torture and OZ!

"Orpheus" is my favorite cross-over too :) But not my favorite Angel episode. Slightly going off topic, one episode that I thought was going to be really dumb from reading the spoilers, but I fell in love with when I saw it was "Smile Time"

SPIKE
(barges into the office)
Hello, big guy! Need another car. Afraid this last one ended up in
the drink...
(stops in mid-thought when he sees puppet Angel sitting at the desk)

PUPPET ANGEL
(anxiously)
Spike...

SPIKE
(staring)
Look at you.

PUPPET ANGEL
(gesturing with his hands)
Just turn around and walk away.

SPIKE
(still staring)
You're a—

PUPPET ANGEL
Spike!

SPIKE
(starts laughing uncontrollably)
You're a bloody puppet!

Angel launches from his chair at Spike, knocking them through the
office windows and into the lobby.

Tangent ended. "I Will Remember You" is also a good cross-over as noted above.

As a die hard BAngel fan you can guess what I'm going to say... my fav crossover is of course I Will Remember You. I still cry every time I watch that ep, and I will always think of peanut butter when I think of them. In fact it's one of my fav Angel eps ever because it shows just how much he is willing to sacrifice for the greater good. As much as I love B & A together I loved him even more for choosing to go back and become what he was knowing that it would forever put an end to him and Buffy. (I'm getting choked up again.)

Now I also loved "Orpheus". I loved seeing Willow interact with them and her quips. "In The Dark" for the very reason someone mentioned when Spike just gives in and hits Angel with the two by four. And of course "End of Days" and "Chosen", (oh, there's a shocker). Truthfully I loved all the crossovers because it reminded us that these two shows were connected and supposed to be taking place in the same universe.
