I picked up on the memory implanting possibility as originally introduced in Blank earlier this season after seeing Lara. This episode verified that Lex used the same techniques on the Julian clone that Kevin Grady's father used on Kevin in Blank.
The posts below were made quite a few weeks ago. They state that Zor-El used a similar yet more advanced Kryptonian technique on Kara after he erased her memories of what happened on Earth.
One thing I have said and still stick to is that I don't think it's a coincidence that Kara blacked out in the middle of her flight in Lara when the plane almost hit her. Blacking out like that was also Lex's reaction to the treatments he received from Dr. Garner in Memoria. And I believe Kevin Grady was also blacking out or having some mental side effects from having memories implanted into his brain.
I think Kara blacked out because someone implanted memories into her head. Perhaps it was Zor-El who put that memory of sending Kara off from Krypton (the one seen at the beginning of Lara) in her mind. It could be possible that in reality, there was a struggle and he forcefully made her go into the ship & that the memory we saw was a lie that never happened. Or maybe he put all the bad memories of the Martian Manhunter in her mind so she didn't trust him. I would think that even though Zor-El wiped out her memories of her visit to Earth, she could have found out from Lara that Zor-El was evil. So Zor-El may have needed to resort to brainwashing her with false memories. I just don't see how someone as ruthless and cold as Zor-El could hide his true intentions from the time we saw him brainwashing her in Lara up to the time he sent her off to Earth.
Do you think Kara was a victim of false memories being implanted in her mind just as Grant (Julian clone) had the same done to him by Lex? Please vote.
