Just when I thought we finally have a strong confident Clark. It turns out to be Bizzaro.

Don't get me started with a C4 bomb that actually writes on the top "C4". Come on...

What about knowing someone is going to blow up your cousin and yet pull dumb plans anyway. As if the first time wasn't enough, Lois dots bomb on you on the "outside" of the interoffice mail bag?

One moment Grant was about to jump Lex in the office, the next moment he leaves Lois and Lex, who just killed a clone of Grant himself, to themselves.

Look, I understand that it's a story about a man who catches bullets and shoots fire out of his eyes, but aside from that, can we have some believability in the show? Just enough so that the show is actually intense instead of ridiculous?

The actors did great. TW was excellent playing the confident Clark. I mean he looked like Superman. And then the writer reminds us that they like to keep Clark as a emo BDA stuck in ice box because AI Jor-El thinks that's a good way to keep a son in place.

KK played well.

AM through her talent showed once again why Chloe became the most popular character in the show.

ED break up scene have me believe she should goto Seattle Grace when she is done with Med school.

Once again, it was the darn fraking writing that pulled the show from being "excellent tv" to "neh, it's bearable".

AlMiles, pull it together, don't act like you two are possessed by "Brannon Braga and Rick Berman", Please!

i thought this was gonna be a post about Clark, not "this is everything that sucked about the ep, oh and why couldnt it be clark either?"

that's something I'd expect of the real ILL, she knows the dangers, but still fights back any way she can till something works. thats why EDLois is the best version on screen to date

I actually laughed out loud about that one...

I didn't find the bomb being labeled "C4" really that odd. The same thing has happened in movies like "Die Another Day".

C4 is actually labeled C4. It comes in prepackaged blocks, that are labeled C4, or, composition (compound) 4. Having the bomb labeled C4, isn't that off.

The Gemini bomb broke the rule of having the ticking numbers in blue instead of red lol.

I liked the episode, but I agree with the OP that Bizarro is the opposite of the BDA. Clark was direct, decisive and intelligent, cases in point:

1) Clark learns that Chloe could be in danger...he doesn't brood or think about it, talk it out, or look confused. He uses the powers at his disposal to determine if there is a problem, and solves it immediately.

2) Clark figured out that Braniac is back from Chloe's research, and patiently explained it to Chloe.

Bizzaro wasn't mopey or emo...even when he was confessing feelings to Chloe and Lana he seemed confident and strong to me. I have to say that Bizarro impersonating Clark is more likeable than Clark is. :) But the problem is that Bizarro will probably not stay this way. Although it would be kind of funny if Bizarro is actually the future Superman. Ha ha.

Just kidding, I don't want that either. It's a funny idea though. :)

Well said ClarksGal.

That's what shocked me the most, his immediate decision making without hesitation or looks of confusion. By the end of the episode it was all finally adding up.

I do like that part of Bizarro, making decisions efficiently.

yes, that would mean the guy removed the original package, removed the size that would fit in the tiny box from the block, then wrapped that with the C4 tag that he made himself. Great, much more logical...

Clark is supposed to be confident, decisive and intelligent. If Lex is a character I'd love to hate for these attributes, Clark is the one I'd love to love for the same traits as well.

But it's really funny when you immediately know this isn't Clark when he's projecting all those good qualities. I remember reading a review of Zod, and the reviewer asked if this is a pod Clark, because Clark was strong and decisive during the entire episode.

well, maybe next time, you know, when Clark actually has a speaking role.

and not everything sucked, just the writing.

by the way, now that Clark is frozen, maybe there'd be even more of those Star War similarity topics.
