View Full Version : Why did "Julian" break up with Lois?

He goes behind Lex's back to still be with Lois for a couple of episodes, and then right after he finds out he's just a creation and tells Lex to let him have "free will" and "live his 'life'", he goes and breaks it off with Lois... huh??
Is it because he'd feel guilty deceiving her? Doesn't want Lex on to her more than he already is?? Is this a way of protecting Lex, so if he and Lois aren't together, she's less likely of finding out the truth of "Julian's" existence, thus exposing Lex more???
What's the real reason for "Grant" breaking up with Lois?

I think it's because he found out he's not a real person, and he doesn't want to burden her with that.
Which makes him more a real person than some real people.

Maybe it's because he now realizes what kind of a person Lex is and he doesn't want to put Lois in danger.
Until he found out that Lex "creates" life (clones) and cold bloodedly kills them if they aren't useful, he thought Lex was a good guy. He thought Lex was his long lost brother who found him and was bringing him back into the family.

I agree. Well said. :)
I also admire that he wants to go out into the world and find his own way. Figure out who he is and what he wants. Very cool.

I though the same when Julian said about "living his life" and then goes and break up with Lois...O.o but I agree that he wants to protect her and don't drown her in this Luthors game.

Yeah... he probably doesn't want to put her in danger. Lex probably wouldn't want to risk Julian telling Lois the truth. Right now, with Julian gone she doesn't have access to any evidence about project Scion.
