View Full Version : Why would Bizarro...?

So why would Bizarro act upon as if he was Clark? Why would he hang out with Lana, help find Chloe, and then save Chloe? Is it just because hw wants Clarks life as like when Lionel had Clarks body in "Transferrence?"

I guess cause he needed Chloe's help to translate. Plus, he's trying to slip into Clark's life and doing this would convince Chloe that nothing's wrong with him.
well people at twop have been saying that in "bizzaro" bizzaro was saying he wants Clark's life and he would do it without making Clark's same mistakes

Until the point comes when it doesn't matter anymore, and he can forsake everyone in Clark's life, he as to BE "Clark".

Yeah, in the season premiere he said he would take over Clark's life and not make the same mistakes.

Bizarro seems to be using what Lana and Chloe know in order to locate Brainiac. I'm just not thrilled about another powerful kryptonian relying on mortals for information to follow through with their plans.

i think he was just trying to fly under the radar so noone will know in case MM comes back idk

He seemed to have gotten his emotions under controll though because in the episode bizzaro even the few scenes he acted as Clark he was unbalanced

And with him being concerned/intrigued about Brainiacs return, does he plan to team up with Brainiac?

Hmm maybe when Clark talks to Brianiac in Persona it is actually brainiac

I think first he needed them to read that messaged and second he has to act normal or else they would become suspicious because Chloe already knows about the bizarro clark.
yeah, and I think Chloe will be the first to realize that isn't Clark...because Lana definitely isn't going to be the one to do it if he keeps giving her these nice compliments!

When mm shows up, he'll know he's not real by reading his mind!
maybe chloe will figure it out before mm returns!

My theory: Taking over Clark's life is a part of it. But he needs Lana's help to expose Lex and his operations...and the vast stores of meteor rock he undoubtedly has laying around somewhere.

Man, that freaking rocked when he switched to Bizarro face. I cheered. I love that I had no clue that was coming. And about halfway through the episode, I thought, "They're just not gonna address what happened to Clark in the Fortress?" Poor Clarkie.
But yeah I think Bizarro's just playing it cool 'til he can find Brainiac and team up. That premise is a cool one.

Very good point!

Yeah, the meteor rock! I wouldn't have thought of that angle. Bizarro doesn't seem to be a BDA.

Wasn't it obvious?
1) Chloe kept sending him message after message to no avail.
2) I'm sure we're going to split hairs about this topic, but he FLEW up the stairs.
3) He was way too "on-task" to be Clark. Right off the bat he wanted to put Lex down, but he wanted to do it smart and take his time to trap him in his own game. I mean, when has he EVER done this?

yes he has obviously made up for his flaws

It would make sense for Clark to go under the radar, like it was said before. because he wanted to know everything about Lex and found out about the liquid substance which was brainiac, so maybe Fine had something to do with the bizarro entity before it was trapped in the phantom zone. didn't they say that the bizarro phantom was created in a laboratory?

I thought that i was weird to because he saved Chloe and Jimmy and that is something bizarro just doesn't do! maybe just to cover up his tracks!

MM said that Bizarro, before Jor-El banished him to the Phantom Zone, lived a life without family or love or comfort or any of the pleasant things Clark grew up with. And in "Bizarro", Bizarro himself wanted to take over Clark's life "and not make the same mistakes."
It fits the canon too. In the comics (and also the Animated Series) Bizarro was jealous of Superman and wanted to BE him.

Because he didn't have Clark's phone. In the flashbacks at the beginning, when Clark was getting told off by Jor El, he was wearing the red jacket. Bizarro had the blue jacket. But Clark-on-ice looked like he was wearing a blue jacket, on my TV at least.
Obviously, if Bizarro wants people to believe he is Clark, he has to do the things Clark would do. But there where two lines at the end where I though it might be Bizarro talking, maybe being overpowered by Clark's memories. Or maybe TPTB messing with us.
"I realized something when I was gone, (on the sunny side of Mars) that feelings, good or bad, they don't just disappear,(they come with the DNA) no matter who you are." (Even if you are Bizarro.)
"Yesterday, when I saw you in the barn, it was like I fell in love with you all over again." (Only this time I fell in love with you as Bizarro.)

I totally agree, he needs the info Lana has and Chloe's skills, and just going and trying to get it by force wasn't gonna work, so it's a nice move.

he has an agenda to translate the Kryptonian and find Brainac...

yeah I wonder if the Clark that finds Brainiac is Bizzaro or Clark. Moreover will bizzaro be a good guy now when Clark is released ?

I wouldn't be surprised if Bizarro destroys Clark's relationship with Lana to the point it can't be recovered.
I would guess that Lana tells Clark/Bizarro things she wouldn't normally have to Clark. Bizarro makes her thinks that he doesn't have a problem with it. Of course when the real Clark returns and she tells him stuff and he's angry about the things she has done.
They already seeded the end of their relationship when he discovered what Lana was up to.

Maybe Lana finds out that it is Bizzaro and wants to make Bizzare super babies and dumps Clark for his super powered clone

Yes I can see that hapening but would it be because Bizzaro is choosing to act like Clark or because in his own sick way what Lana did is not bad to him
