DL question

DL didn't have time to react to the bullet that was fired. He wasn't able to turn his phasing on (lack of better terms) in time.

possibly, but i would think it's an instinctual thing.

also, since the company let claire think hrg was dead, maybe the company also let nikki think dl was dead but then they brought him back to life :)

why didn't the company just keep taking out pints and pints of kensei's blood, and have zillions of it stored away? kensei was imprisoned for 30 years after all.

It is possible DL is not dead, of course, however, he was looking at Nikki when the guy stepped up and shot him, he didn't exactly have time to react and phase quick enough. But again, no one ever really seems to die in this show, so you just never know.

okay, there was blood spattered on Niki whe he got shot. He is obviously dead.

Unless they use Claire's blood to bring him back to life. But other than that, he's dead.

There was also a funeral for him. So...yeah..

Though I agree he should be dead (despite that particular way for his character die being craptastic) theres lots of ways around all that, Vital. Just because you bleed doesn't mean you die. He could have phased in time and the bullet hit someone behind him. No one saw his body at the funeral. I don't really think any of this is really what will happen, but it is all a possibility.

if the bullet hit someone else, they wouldn't show DL's family, Monica, and his family at the funeral. makes sense doesn't it?

it is just clear that DL is dead.

it is just clear that DL is dead. It isn't clear, as Pycer said we didn't actually see a dead body did we? His death could have been faked for whatever reason... (that has always been my theory, that DL's death was faked and that guy who shot him was in on it....as it seemed really odd for him to shoot a total stranger he just met over a girl he just met, didn't really add up)

Same thing with Niki, we didn't actually see her die so she's probably still alive. I think DL might have saved her from that fire.

That would mean that Niki's new alter ego in on it also. The way that DL died doesn't make sense in a faked death situation. Who were they faking it for? For what reason?

If DL's death was faked, it seems like it was faked only for us, the viewers. That would be dumb imo.

I don't know why DL would fake his death, or who all the people in on it were. His death/murder was just really off, for a number of reasons. Not showing an actual body or him dying (it was an off-screen, assumed death) adds a lot of support to the DL still being alive theory imo. And since there was a whole funeral and all, it implies a faked death with some people in on it. And again, for what reason I don't know.

Wasn't DL a wanted man or something? I can't really remember... That could be part of the reason for faking his death. Another reason might have to do with the Company...

He was wanted for a while last season, but Niki/Jessica confessed to his crimes.
