View Full Version : Sylar M.I.A. AGAIN
I was really looking forward to Sylar this episode. Only to be robbed again. They've got two episodes left before they have no more new epsiodes (gee thanks writers guild, I really hope you get what you really deserve). I don't see how they'll be able to tie up Vol. 2, let alone explain Sylar in two episodes - or if they try it'll be a mess.
I want to know what happened to Sylar during the four months - yeah I get that Candice saved him with the help or who? I don't get why he was in the middle of no where, why they saved him, why he can't use his 'powers' and all that important in between stuff. Maybe that's for Vol. 3?

I suppose we'll get some answers concerning why Sylar was saved and by whom in the next two episodes.
I wasn't at all bothered by the fact he wasn't in this episode. I really can't stand Sylar this season. Saving him after what happened in Kirby Plaza was pointless. It would have been better if his character was only tied to the first season. I mean, aren't there enough bad guys in this season without bringing Sylar in?

He's filming Star Trek. We're probably only going to see him one more time.

that sucks if he isnt in the season finale (stupid writers strike)

He probably will be. Maybe. The preview after the show had him in NYC, so maybe he's gotten Maya to Mohinder.
And it isn't about the writer's strike he isn't there. He's just too busy. Kring went into this season knowing Quinto couldn't be there every day like he was the second half of last season. He wrote around that.

Who cares about Sylar when he's with those annoying twins?!?!?!

Truthfully I didn't even notice he was missing. Not saying his character sucks but with all that was going on last night. Seeing Sylar with the bordem twins would've taken away from last nights episode.
And from next weeks preview he looked to be in New York with Mo-daddy. So it'll be interesting to see those two together again and the repercussions from it.

Well, Sylar and Maya left Alejandro in the desert. So it'll just be the two of them there.

Did they leave him or did Sylar get his powers back and kill him?

Sylar is in the early stages of the disease (not the strain Niki has). That's why he hasn't been able to use any of the abilities he's gained.

Did you read this in a spoiler or is it a theory of yours? It would make sense, though, considering the number of people he killed and the likelihood that at least one of them was infected with the virus..

See......Sylar used to be taken more seriously - but since whenever we see Sylar we know the loser twins aren't far behind - it makes people cringe to look for Sylar. I can't wait for them to either expand on those characters or for Sylar to kill them both.

He ate Candace, but nothing happened. Ideally, he would have gained her ability, but he didn't. The disease blocks the source of their abilities. That's why Molly was dying. She was in the late stages of the disease.
It isn't a spoiler or a theory. It should be obvious. If he can't do it and there's a reason why people with abilities can't function, it's basic math.

More Sylar = more twins. Less twins = good Heroes episode. Sucks that he hasn't been seen in awhile, but I can't stand the twins.

I was just glad that we didn't have any of the blackhole of screentime that is the wonder twins. If Sylar must be sacrificed in order to make that be, then so be it.

Yeah, I like Sylar, but since getting him means getting the twins, I'm ok with him not being there.
LOL - Guess I should have added an option to the poll
"Would you miss Sylar if he was solo - minus the annoying twins" lol or rather one of them lol.....

But it makes it all the sweeter when he eats their brains.

I must be the only guy watching enjoying the Maya/Alejandro/Sylar storyline.
Anyway, this episode also didn't have any Peter in it. It was a Company Man style ep that focused soley on one plotline. So, while I think Sylar would have made this ep weaker, its not because the plotline is bad, its bc of the nature of the episode.

I miss Sylar, but not the wonder twins.

I like to see Sylar struggling after all the mess that he has done last season. He deserves to be in this kind of situation. What a humiliation it must be for him...to travel with those 2 annoying-weirdo-twins and not be able to kill them.

Wow, I just watched the commentary, and realized that I had only remembered about 1/2 of the ep. It was all great, but I guess the awesomeness of HRG blocked out the rest.
