That PART is SAD and EMOTIONAL!! Hiro looks at his dad on the balcony, knowing the dad will die in the next minute...that part was deep!!!!!!!! Good scene and good acting there!! 2 thumbs up for Hiro!!
I also like how Hiro acted as a narrator at the end, speaking Japanese and delivering the speech. He should take over Mohinder's narrating role :D
Wut u guys think about the scene?

It was IMO the most powerful scene the series has had so far.
George Takei is an outstanding actor, and Masi is on the way to becoming one.
Masi has improved a lot since this series began.
(Masi Oka is filming a movie remake of "Get Smart" right now)

I agree with you Steve. We never really saw an emotional scene like that. We finally got one and it was powerful.

Hiro reminds me of Bobby Lee in his korean soap opera, EXCEPT Hiro's the more serious type of coz!! God man, I still have that mental picture of Hiro in his teary eyed!! Can't get it out of my head!!

With Steve Carrell as Maxwell Smart (Agent 86) and Anne Hathaway as 99.

Loved the scene. After the scene my dd said that Hiro is her new favorite character because he is really good. While most of the other characters are grey - Hiro is the one that stands out as truly trying to do what is right.

Hiro is the man on the show!! He's actually the only one in the show who's not afraid to face his destiny.
Damn, I wish Hiro casts in Smallville. He can lecture Clark on the hero thing for sure :D

Haha. I can just imagine that conversation.
Hiro: You have great power.
Clark: But, but, but... I have a farm to run! I promised my dad!
Hiro: If you hold him in your heart, he will always be with you.
Clark: But what about Lana? My girlfriend?
Hiro: That's her? Wow. She is no Yaeko. Ok. You can stay on farm. Earth does not need you if you give up your destiny for that.
Clark: Yay!
That scene was a tear jerker.

Yes, great acting AND special effects, who would of thunk it ?
His Dad was 100 correct and Hiro understood it, they are NOT gods and to do anythign else would have brought dishonour to all his Dad had taught him.
Excellent character writing.

I liked that scene alot, but the only thing that made me kind of dislike it was that the narration was in japanese. I was too busy trying to read the subtitles to notice most of the really powerful montage that was playing. But other than that I loved it.
