He's still a little on the annoying side, but I certainly find him a lot more tolerable after tonight's episode. I think the rumors of him being a company plant were greatly exaggerated, but still you never know.

He's ok now... don't think his acting is that believable, but at least he's not acting like a douche.

No, I liked him all along ;)

a little - he's not as needy and annoying now - since he gave HRG a chance and was willing to help out to protect Claire - gives him a bit more backbone - and yeah he's not acting like a weirdo right now....

I don't think that he's got any family - he never talks about them and always dodges the questions about them. I think he's gonna be staying with the Bennetts from now on.

I still think he is Claire's brother :p

I can't remember who said it but

"Girls tend to pick boyfriends that remind them of their father" or something like that that and the fact he was willing to risk his life to save claire, it kinda change my perspective on him

No still don't like him...the relationship wasn't believeable from the start. I have a feeling a "re-write" was the reason for the sudden character shift.

^ Oh... that fact worried me a bit... er... lol. BUT I do like Wes better now.

(Oh, and I'm wondering if he's her brother too considering he can fly like Nathan can)

I disliked Wes before, because he was just quite into 'categorizing' human beings. "you're either a robot or alien" and then going ahead to imply he was 'better' than everyone because he had the power to fly.

But I liked him better after this ep.

He still sucks.

I REALLY hope he's not her brother, otherwise I'm really gonna question what's going on in the minds of TPTB. Sick stuff, that'd be worse than Luke and Leia's spit swap in Empire.

If they'd written him with more facets to begin with, people's opinions wouldn't have to change.

I actually like him after this episode. His dialogue still sounds kinda forced, but at least his actions were admirable in this episode.

I started liking West two episodes ago when he showed true fear when he saw Noah. I think most of us agreed then that he was squirrelly, and a bit teenage-stalkerish, but probably not hooked to the company or Adam.

Liked his character much much better today. He showed the makings of a real hero.

I was still on the fence until this episode. Now I think his character arc can truly develop and turn him into a more likeable character

West was awesome. My opinion of him has definately changed.

My opinion has changed,

When I first saw him stalking Claire, I hated him. It wasn't until after he found out that HRG was Claire's father and left that I slowly started to tolerate him. Now he's okay.

I hated Wes right up until the minute he confronted Noah and stopped acting like a child and listened to him.

Then suddenly he did what needed to be done and acted very maturely. Much better.

I never had the panties-in-a-wad type major problem with him that some people have had, but (even though they retconned him quite a bit, personality wise, or at least developed him far from where he was) I liked him quite a bit this episode. He was very heroic and likeable, and the guys acting was just fine for what he was given, script-wise.

I really want to say that I still don't like him but he redeemed himself is this episode. I wouldn't go so far as to say I like him yet but he's definitely not as bad as I thought.

Come on, everybody. Redeeming himself and being a d-bag are still two different things. Just because he did a good thing in this episode doesn't mean we're automatically required to like him.

i was right, he was just acting like a teenage boy before.
as for who said "girls like boys like their father" that was mrs bennet to hrg. i like how he mentioned that hes like nathan in that he can fly.

I'm starting to like West more now. I'm glad that West wasn't the one to kill Noah with Claire on his side like the painting kinda implied.

I like West, he's a good guy. He's perfect for Claire and he has the approval of HRG and the mom.

I concur. People love to jump on the bandwagon. I'll admit, I found him a little morally/socially ambiguous to start, but I never hated him.

So automatically because a lot of fans didn't like him, it was all bandwagoning? Do you even consider maybe a lot of people disliked him for the same reasons?

You like to argue as much as I do

He still has a long way to go to prove to me he's beyond the twisted stalkerish behavior. That, and the 'Mr. Butler, what are you doing?' line was delivered laughably bad...but mainly, he's still creepy. I think hes more a selfish oppurtunist than anything else. i never thought he was with the company or her bro or anything else like that, just creepy. And thats enough for me to dislike him still.

My opinion has changed of him. At first I thought this guy was a bonafide stalker, especially when he text messaged Claire saying she's having Waffles for breakfast and he's there cooking. Uncomfortable scene there.

But now, only b/c he's associated with Noah do I tolerate him more.

Then explain why everyone seems to like him now and I still hate him.

It seemed like you were arguing against everyone bandwagoning to like West and people calling it bandwagoning. idk though I guess you are harder to convice? :\

No, I still think he sucks.

My opinion of Claire is getting worse the longer she stays around him though.

Claire is so uninteresting this season. It's all Smallville-esque.

Well,I liked him on this episode. He helped HGR and he protected Claire. But,there's still something wrong about him.

i liked his reaction to hrg holding a gun to bob's head. it shows hes not so bad. the idea of hrg shooting someone in cold blood is so remote from him that he didnt say stop or dont shoot. he asked hrg what he was doing. like he couldnt even imagine that hrg would pull the triger

With the exception of how laughably bad that line was delivered. VERY bad acting there...I bet Keanu Reeves is his idol.
