View Full Version : One Wild and Crazy Ride
Wow.... just wow. This episode sure had a lot of wow omg moments. I mean, finding out Hiro's dad's killer, the Parkman turning slightly evil, Mohinder turning to the darkside like a lamb, finding out Elle's daddy, finding out that Elle might be worse off because of her dad, HRG's death and resurrection..... I mean damn!!! Good episode.
Some minor plot holes but damn good episode!!!

This of course was the "Company Man" of this season.
I'm so glad that HRG came back - I didn't see that coming.... I was actually upset that the character died. He's just the man.
Be funny if they changed that episode so he didn't die because the fans like him so much. lol

as soon as i saw the hooded mans lips, it came to me
there were alot of "man i should have seen this coming"
Claire's blood + HRG
400 yrs + BOOM! + Kensai + falling from building
it explains some too
why Kaito stayed instead of going back to Japan.
So, do you think Matt took Ma Patrelli's secret?
Matt sort of reminds me of Adam in the fact that, they have the capacity for good but when given power they kind of turn, you know?

I squeed when HRG got killed. I don't like him. But I did think it was a nice parallel to when Claire came back in the morgue. "Holy..."
I think that Parkman did take the secret- because the photo had the woman's name on it now - Victoria Pratt. Whereas before he didn't know who she was........
Wow.....Parkman became his daddy..... and now he's gonna lead Adam right to the hidden lady.....
I wonder if it is Adam pullin' the strings - if so then Parkman Sr. must have just loved him because he could read minds so he must have known that Adam was playin' everyone. I mean - I thought it was a guy with mind control powers killing everyone off..... what's so tough about a 400 year old dude - oh right....thinking back to Highlander lol....

For sure  I was afraid we would need to set up a rubber room for her, I can almost imagine the commotion in her house till they brought him back. :D

"Victoria Pratt" was an actress on Mutant X.
That name was bugging me till I Googled it.

This is one of the best episodes, the killed a major character then to be brought back to life but you have to ask is it Claire or Adams blood, my best is Adam
wonder what her power will be.

I loved that too, it was a great shout out to last season.
When HRG got shot, I thought Claire was going to heal him herself, rather than the Company using her blood, and it definitely threw me off. I'm glad he came back though, HRG might be really twisted, but he's still such a badass.

It makes me wonder again about Mr Muggles back when he lapped up Claire's blood in season one.

Tonight definitely was one of the best episodes this season. There were a lot of moments that surprised me. For instance, I honestly didn't think Mohinder would really shoot HRG...and then he did. Definitely glad he was resurrected though. Wonder what the Company is planning for him now though...
And Matt's now walking a very fine line between good and evil. Granny Petrelli was right when she warned him about becoming his father.
West actually turned out to be pretty likeable in this episode. I thought he was gonna end up trying to kill HRG...but then in the scene at the beach when the two of them were waiting for Bob to arrive, he and HRG were suddenly chatting it up as if they were old buddies.
The parts with Hiro and his dad were really sad though. I actually thought Hiro was gonna find a way to save Kaito. :(

I'm really surprised that Mohinder killed HRG, too. I mean, it had to be done, but he could've just hit his shoulder or something. Then there's no risk of Claire's blood not working on the dead or something.
I don't know if I like the path Matt's taking, I know it's really important for him to find out what is going on with the 12, but as you said, Angela was right when she warned him he's becoming his father. Matt telling Molly he wouldnt let her use her powers to find the 12, and to just be normal, really made me think he was a true good guy (Which he is, but he's giving into the power to get what he wants)
I never really hated West like a lot of people did, I had my suspicions, and wondered who he was, but when I found out he really was kidnapped by HRG, and he really was terrified when he saw him, it really helped me like him more. I also liked how HRG and West got along just so they could save Claire. Seems kind of weird, really. I mean he was so scared, then he goes and kidnaps HRG, drops him off and doesn't throw a punch or anything. Then because Claire's in danger he's all of a sudden HRG's friend. (Although I did like the comment about HRG's car being really cool, or whatever he said)
Im glad Hiro was able to let go of his father, it really proves he can be a true hero if he chooses to be, which I highly doubt him ever doing the opposite.
And, that's enough wall of text rambling from me tonight.

This was probably the second or third best ep. yet this season.
Loved it!
Best of all, Mohinder didn't die!
(From the previews, I thought he actually would.)
Second best of all, HRG didn't die either! :D
Eventhough I strongly dislike Claire, I thought
the bonding thing between HRG and West was really endearing.
I kinda thought everyone was jumping to conclusions with
West. I mean, there can only be so many villians on the show.
I think I knew he was a good (very cute!) guy all along.
Alright, Hiro's got a good story going again!
(And he got to do the closing voice-over.
Woot!)
Should've seen it coming that Adam was the killer.
I mean, since he did get away and all.
Nice twist!
OMG, Matt is turning eeeviiiillll!!Noooo!!
Matt has quickly become one of my favorite characters,
along with HRG. I don't want him to be all evil and go
to the darkside-even if they do have cookies.
The cookies aren't worth it, Matt! :p
I actually smiled and was all "Ha-ha." when Elle electrocuted
herself. Guess I don't like her all that much.
(Besides, she asked if she could keep Mohinder.
Only I get to do that.
Actually, when she had her paws all over him,
my reaction was "Get your hands off him!".)
So, she deserved it. Muhaha!

Such a good episode, I didn't run to my PC to post during commercials.
Well, plus I had company, & didn't want to appear to be crazy, even though WE all know I am. :p
