I wondered the same thing as you mrpenguin16 and I do agree with you Theshadow129x. Well it makes sense if it shattered when Clark smashed the blue crystal.

the ring technically came from the crystal b/c lara had it with her, so i just assumed that when she disappeared so did everything else that came with the crystal.

Didn't Lara have the ring with her? If so, then the blue crystal created the ring just like it Lara-El & Zor-El. When the crystal was destroyed, the ring was too.
